Hell, Legends would be a better idea with Final Crisis going on.  Or the Great Darkness Saga.
mmmmmm... Absolute Legends......  I'd buy it.

I'd put down the money for either one, but Great Darkness would get my vote for print first.  Legends needs to have an inker clean up the linework for issue 6, ala Final Crisis.

If we go by colors it looks like you're Reed.  Chris is Sue, Wood is Johnny, and I'm Ben.  Makes sense being the Heeb, I suppose.  Even though Jason was holding his thing while we were recording.

I'm still waiting to hear who is which Beatle...

Great show though guys. What's your thoughts on the new DD issue though David? You started to talk about it during the Cap talk, but got cut off (No No to Vince).

For absolutes, I want a reprint of both authority volumes, reprint of danger girl, the rest of planetary whenever the alst issue comes out, Justice,52, All Star Superman, darwyn cooke's spirit, and batman:dark victory. That's just oof the top of my head. And on the amazon site you can see that Jim Lee's For Tomorrow is supposed to come out early next year.

Getting to the episode a little late this week, really good, still my favourite podcast since my first episode(five or six). Thanks for the 24 hour comic book day talk, I've sort of gotten back into the drawing game at the start of the year with a few years off and I haven't been doing much. So I'm going to try and rise to the challenge and get amongst it.

About the World War Z talk, I found an audiobook version of it and I was just wondering if anyone recommends it or not. Other than that, awesome sauce dudes, same as always.

If it was from Audible than it was a pick of the week on the Mac Break Weekly podcast (part of the TWiT family). I guess it's more of a dramatization than a straight reading. The author, Max Brooks, is the son of Mel Brooks ( Not Worthy). So I guess that the performers are all children of, or somehow connected with, the cast of Your Show of Shows.

Another great show, fellas. Vince, loved the Rush intro, and the wrap up with Pink Floyd. Powerful stuff considering that the band's founding member just died recently. Also, I wanted to let you know you can read "Neotopia" on the Wowio website for free, or download the whole thing for a low price. I have been frequenting the site fairly often as of late since an old publisher of mine is uploading a bunch of  his titles onto the site (Mine should be up within a few weeks hopefully). Anyway, you sounded pretty jazzed about it, so I'll check it out.

Having never read Ronin that huge thing would be a bit of a stretch for me just to try it. Is there a cheaper alternative but still a quality presentation?

What's your thoughts on the new DD issue though David? You started to talk about it during the Cap talk, but got cut off (No No to Vince).

Great issue.  Might've felt a little slow in spots, but when you consider just how few characters were involved in this first part, it moved quite nicely.  I won't spoil anything, but I will say that I want to see more of Lady Bullseye (and am glad I will) and Matt's new predicament is not unexpected.  And right away with the guilt.  Oy.

Clay Mann seems to have a nice mix going on of past DD artists - Will Johnson, David Mazzuchelli, are two that I kind of see on the page.  And Stefano Guadiano's inks made it feel like a current Brubaker-written comic.  It might have been a little too 'clean' considering the subject, but it really works.

Plus: Dakota North side boob!

Forbidden Planet has the TPB.

It doesn't look like Amazon UK has it in stock, but Amazon dot com does.
