What do you do when a cause you truly believe in, one to which you've devoted your entire life, suddenly becomes irrelevant? In "The Massive," a new three-part serial by "DMZ" and "Northlanders" writer Brian Wood and "Supermarket" artist Kristian Donaldson set to begin in January's "Dark Horse Presents" #8, an environmental disaster has radically altered life on Earth, leaving a group of surviving activists to question where they go from here.

Read CBR's interview with Wood here.

i thought that the last few episodes weren't the strongest. with this new one they're back in form.
I thought your last few posts were rubbish, but it's good to see you rounding back into form.

finally something from Wood I can get behind (sorry Northlanders)... and I loved Supermarket's art so thats great! Sounds like DMZ goes sci-fi.

Dark Horse Presents #2 really picked up its game, IMO.  After number 1 I was in the boat of indecisiveness but this thing has really turned itself around, so I'm looking forward to more issues of DHP and this tale by Brian Wood will keep me involved.

I was talking to Kristian about this during FCBD and he mention that he expects a long run.  At the time he didn't give me any details (as in publisher) but he was generally pretty excited about working on the project and that he had an some of it done.
