Hey guys just figured I would put up a couple pictures of stuff I got at comic-con last week.  I was going to post the pictures I took, but Pat's pictures are way better and mostly of the same things.  This was the first year were I really got a chance to go through artist alley and talk to the artists which was a really cool experience.  Normally it is straight to the long boxes for me, but this year I decided to make a effort and check out some art.  I'd be interested to see what others picked up at the show.

I got a chance to talk to Ian Churchill for a little while as he drew the awesome sketch in my book.  He was a really nice guy (he actually asked me if I had time for him to draw the sketch in my book, I can't imagine anyone saying "no thanks I don't want a awesome sketch in my book I'm good".)
I also got to talk to Dustin Nguyen for a little bit.  He was also a really nice guy.  I picked up two prints and he gave me the sketch book for free. The Batman print is for my comic room, but I gave the Marvel one to my little cousin who I'm trying to get into comics.  He loved it.
And last but not least I got me a galactus figure that I missed out on last year.  Everyone loves Galactus. Another good week at comic-con, this was my 6th year hopefully I will manage to get tickets for next year.  It gets more difficult every year.

I really regret not getting one of those Dustin Nyugen prints. I also regret not being able to explore artist ally more, I spent my of my time at the con at panels.

Here is my haul for the week:

Inside Prison Pit:

Inside American Vampire Vol 2:

Books not in the pictures:
-The Complete Echo Hard Cover Edition. I was super excited to get this, I got to his booth late on the Thursday and would of thought they would all be gone by then. I think I got 107 of 150 thankfully.
-Wilson. I was finally able to pick this up, and when I got it was talked into getting Death Ray.

Overall I am happy with everything I got.  Cheesy

Oof, Matt, I REALLY wanted that Death Ray. I own the Eightball issue but that thing looked gorgeous. And it seemed to have more material than the original story, no? (Also: HOLY SHIT is that Daytripper original cover art?!)

Anyway, budgets were tight but I still managed to come home with a nice stack:

Made some good connects and met a ton of cool people this year, two of which post on this very board! Chopped it up a bit with our very own Steve Bryant and Julian Lytle, and they couldn't have been cooler or nicer dudes.

Well that's still dope, I figured it was a print but then I thought I was seeing little pencil squigglies up in there and wasn't sure what I was looking at.

EDIT: I need to clean my monitor, those "pencil squigglies" are showing up on everything!

I really wanted to get me one of those but by the time I got to the booth they were long gone.
