I feel the same way. EVERY forum in which I participate is lousy with the stuff. Start a discussion on UFOs or Bigfoot or conspiracy theories and, sure enough, someone will drag the topic into religion. EVERY. TIME. To tell you the truth, when someone drops the religion bomb, I leave. I don't cry and stomp my feet and tell them how they're icing up the glow of my lord Satan's embrace, I just walk away. I have absolutely no time for it.  I thought I said pretty much what the other poster said during the show. You would be hard pressed to discount Christ "the man" from existing, whether you believe in the Son of God part or not. Whatever. Moving on. |

I'm with Chris if you are not reading Snyders Detective run you are really missing out. His run on Detective has made me for of a fan of Batman now then I ever was. That Black Mirror HC comes out in November, jump-on-it. Snyder, Francavilla, Jock.

Frank Miller DD is old and played out. Boo that sad ish. I'm tired of sucky ninja DD.
I'm trying to read this one issue of Happy DD.
I don't want to read sad DD for at least 20 years after enough people get off of Frank Miller's dick. #dickriders

Agree completely with Wood on the new DD. I didn't even bother picking up the first ish - that preview in the Marvel books was enough for me to walk away. Goofy DD doesn't work at all for me - what's next, happy go lucky Punisher? Some characters don't work in that context , so do. DD definitely does not.
I also liked (not loved) The Infinite. I'm not Leifeld hater - I pretty much sat out comics during his run of fame - so I don't have a lot of preconceptions about his work. Rachel Rising was also a good read.
