 Roll On Floor Laughing
Steve Raker's Swim Bladder!!!!!!  Steve Raker also knows the term "zip-a-tone"   All is forgiven, man!  Hearts

(Is David coming back...? Cry )

OI!  Raker?!  Did that keep?  Namor hasn't flown since then?

Next;

Dear Carlos, about Ultimates 3--Where have you been?  That crap got panned from Print One, Issue One.  It was rubbish then and it stayed rubbish.  But thanks for confirming that I saved my money.  And tell me, that crap was only 5 issues, right?  Was it always designed to be 5 issues?  Because I got the impression that it was shortened because it was SO bad and the sales evaporated.

Next;
Steve Raker!  You know what soured me during Byrne's Marvel runs?  His disappearances.  At the time, somehow, I had the impression that he'd have a tantrum with the editors, take his pencils, inks, and typewriter, and go home.  And just when I got to enjoy his stuff.  So I learned to stop setting myself up for failure.  But I did enjoy him.  I think of him like a psycho girlfriend.  When is was good, it was red-hot, but my face got slapped one too many times.

Next;
YAY David A Price's back!!!   Coooooooooooooooo....

Lord Neptune hooked Namor up (puns intended) with mystical armor and restored his wings during the battle with the old, faceless ones that culminated in issue #40. Thumbs Up

I hear you on this front, but on this series, he was obviously having fun, winding through the Marvel U with characters and locales...  he hung in there on art 'till #25, and wrote for another 6 issues, so that's time to enjoy the groove he was in, imo! I'll get some covers up shortly.... Smiley

Whoo-Hoo, 'hat trick': 3 posts in a row!  Evil
The 'Death of Gwen' Marvel Tales I remember first reading had the same cover art as the original ASM issues:

Here's the next time:

The Goblin double-sized issue preceeded it and reprinted the 'Harry/pills' 3 issues of ASM:

Like you said, neither cover is credited, but the Spidey on the Goblin one really looks like Greg LaRouque to me.

Hey David, congrats on 50 Marvelous episodes!  w00t

About Gwen Stacy and readers (such as myself) that don't connect with her and why she's important, check out her appearance in the Marvels miniseries. It completely explains why she's Peter's reason to get out of bed in the morning.

Can I request more Iron Man talk on the next episode? From someone? Anyone?

Great episode as always, guys!  I going to have to pull some Essential Spider-Man volumes off the shelve now as I sadly confess... I have never read the death of Gwen Stacy.  Embarrassed

Excellent point!  I have that all set to be re-read (haven't read it since it originally came out in single issues, so it's been awhile), so I'll make sure I touch on that.

Yes.  I'll work on that for you.  I read #s 5 and 6 of Invincible Iron Man, so that should give me a few minutes to ramble with.

...I think I can go there, but not with what you'd likely think Whistle
