I don't know.  Lori is bad in her own right.  However, Winona is so bad that she brings down Raylan with her

I'm glad to see "IT" finally happened. But I really think having it go down this way is sooooooooooooooooooo less powerful than the way it did in the comic. SO. MUCH. LESS.

I enjoyed this episode.  'course it helps that it could only improve after we open with Andrea and T-Dog riding in a truck.

I'm digging 'the mystery' aspect, too.

Hidden because it touches on the next episode clip that followed this week's episode:

I can sort of buy Dale not hearing the walker approach him last week if he's so focused on the cow and the poor animal moaning loud enough to drown out any noise.  And okay, Rick just killed his bestest bud and walking toward his son so he doesn't know Shane's behind him.  But for Rick and Carl to not see a gaggle of walkers coming over the hill?  Only to realize it as Lori yells out to them?  That's a bit much.

T-Dog did something and said something

I'm surprised he didn't drop half the shit he was lugging into the house.

Slightly NSFW (Language)

That's awesome.

Now please kill Lori.  Her character is just as bad, if not worse, than Winona on Justified.
I don't know.  Lori is bad in her own right.  However, Winona is so bad that she brings down Raylan with her

A-fucking-men.

REALLY enjoyed this episode and in this iteration of the walking dead, i prefer how they handled
Carl shooting Shane.  It was a nod to the comics, but it also makes a ton more sense in the context of this show.  The relationship between Shane and Carl is almost younger brother big brother, Carl has seemed to bond with Shane more than his own father... the idea that he could gun down a living breathing Shane seems too much too soon for his character, but Shane as a walker... still gonna be traumatizing, but more believable in the context of these characters.

Nothing was spelled out in the episode.

But he snapped their prisoner's neck earlier in the episode and Randall came back as a walker before Rick and Shane had their "chat".

Implication being then that

Everyone is infected and will turn when they die.

They don't seem to do anything with him. Everytime they go out in the woods etc they leave him behind with the women-folk.  Cheesy

In the book that is the case, only you don't learn that until issue 40 or so.

Yeah, not reading the comicbook and only going by the show, when my brother asked me about it,

I figured 'something must be in the air'.  As long as your brain is still in your head and attached when you die, you're 'reanimated'.

It's funny that you mention that because they did do a shot of "wind" earlier in the episode with the windmill. forshadowing or coincidence?

Carl has more responsibilities  Roll On Floor Laughing. Speaking of. He's looking pretty "old" now. I wonder how old the actor is. He's supposed to be 8-10 right?

I figured the same thing, after those 2 dead walker policemen shown when Shane and Rick first tried to dump Randy. They didn't see bite marks on the corpses.

That's right!

For some reason I thought that even though there were no bite marks, that they were scratched.

This wind aspect makes it feel a little more like Survivors (BBC) which is a good thing

ok it wasn't really wind but
birds that helped spread the disease

If you haven't seen the newer Survivors series it is definitely Walking Dead before walking dead. No zombies but the same bleak look at human nature
