I'd like to see MUCH more of the Wolfman/Perez New Teen Titans reprinted....i think there's only been the Judas Contract, the other Terra arc and the first 20 issues or so (in Archives).

Steve, they just released New Teen Titans Omnibus 1 (DC Presents 26, issues 1 to 20 and all 4 Tales of...).  It is gorgeous.  Volume 2 is planned for April and looks to have another 25 or so issues in it.  They are about $5 bucks on Amazon ad worth every penny.

I agree. I would recommend the Omnibus 1 and 2. Besides those two large collections, DC has published multiple collections of the New Teen Titans:

4 Archives which reprints DCP 26, NTT 1-27, Tales of the Teen Titans 1-4, Annual #1
NTT: Terra Incognito Trade: 28-34, and Annual #2
NTT: The Judas Contact (One of DC's first trades) 39-44, Annual #3
NTT: Terror of Trigon: vol 2 1-5
NTT: Who is Donna Troy: NTT vol1 #38, Tales of the Teen Titans #50, NTT vol 2, 50-55

Yeah, I remember seeing the first omnibus solicited, but that was the same material they've already reprinted in the HC Archives so I didn't order it.....I didn't know there was a second omniboo scheduled.....that's great news, except it's still covering 7 issues that are already in the Archives (which reprinted up to #27, plus annuals and the 'tales of the..' mini)...then comes the Terra story (which is reprinted in TPB), and then it'll get to stuff that hasn't yet been reprinted.....that's what I'm saying: they need to reprint the stuff that hasn't been reprinted, from the mid 30's on (minus Judas Contract), and the baxter paper premium title.  There's a lot there that we haven't seen in a long time, y'know?  We've had the first 30 or so issues available for a good while now.

How were the actual Atari Force stories? I'm not a huge sci-fi comics guy, but I do love the old Micronauts series so perhaps I would dig this too?

I have never made my own hardcover collection, but if I did, I would beginning with BOTH Micronauts and Atari Force. I was a big sci-fi nut when I was kid and those two comics were my favorites. They also probably have the smallest probability of being reprinted due to licensing issues.

I also concur with an Alan Davis Batman/Batman and the Outsiders collection. Those were some great stories.

Other cool collections would be:
Omega Men (The first six issues were amazing)
Blue Devil
Fury of Firestorm (The Pat Broderick run)

I forgot about the Donna Troy TPB!....more stuff like that  Yes, filling in the holes of what's been put out before....the omniboos are doing that, but along with stuff that's already out

Atari Force was way cool, and one of the few DC books I regularly bought....Garcia-Lopez!

Omega Men was a great 'mature' read that seemed really cool to my pre and early teen mindset

....and let's just reprint ALL of Pat Broderick's work from both companies! Yes

There's a honking huge omnibus that just came out.  It reprints the first 20 issues, plus the preview from DC Comics Presents, plus the four issue spotlight miniseries that had the origins of Cyborg, Raven, Starfire, and Changeling.  Volume 2 is due out in the spring.

yup, but 75% of those two omniboo is stuff already reprinted in HC and/or TPB....I'm talking about the Wolfman/Perez Titans stuff that hasn't been reprinted.  I'd like to see that stuff collected.

If I could give more karma out, I surely would... Steve, as you can no doubt tell from my avatar, Pat Broderick has long been one of my favorite artists...

I had no interest in picking those stories in the collections that were already available. Once the omnibus came out now I'll over those stories in this format.

Yes and yes!

I think they were talking about a Captain Carrot Showcase at one point but it was one of the ones that got axed because they couldn't figure out the royalty situation.  Hopefully, they'll get it sorted out and we'll get some reprints.

As for Mazing Man, your post prompted me to Google him and I just found out he's going to be in an episode of Brave & the Bold, so  Rock Horns

Nathaniel Dusk. That's what I'm talking about. Shot from Colan's pencils! So good.
Giffen's Omega Men. Fine lookin' comic.
The Broderick Firestorm of course. Beautiful stuff
The Gil Kane Action Comics run and Superman annual. Supes never looked more powerful.
Captain Action. Gil Kane inked by Wally Wood! There are no words. Never re-printed. A licensing thing I imagine.

I'm hoping when DC releases the Ditko Hawk and Dove stuff it will include the final issues that were drawn by Gil Kane. (have I mentioned his name enough?) These issues are prime Kane.
There's so much late 60's DC stuff that's awesome but short lived. I hope the best of this isn't just left to Showcase reprints. A lot of this art deserves the deluxe treatment. DC really needs to top off some of their "archive" series. In my opinion they're the best reprints available, production wise. Upgrading newsprint comics is an art in itself and I really think DC nailed it with the archives. Quality stock, but ever so slightly off white. Matte-ish. This faux newsprint shite they're doing now is a bit of a scam. Check the difference between the new Kamandi Omnibus and the Kamandi archive editions. No contest. As for their oversized omniboo like GL and Teen Titans I think the stock is too shiny. Marvel's look better. Again, more of a matte thing goin' on.

Rambling here....sorry.

I thought about this some more and would also like to see deluxe hardcovers of Palmiotti & Gray's Jonah Hex.

It would be awesome to see some more color reprints of Fleisher's Jonah Hex as well. I think everyone would just benefit from more Jonah Hex  Cheesy

JLI Volume 5.  IN HARDCOVER, DC.  C'mon.

And Denny O'Neill/Neal Adam's Green Lantern run in either Artist's Edition or in a "retro" Absolute that doesn't have the crappy modern recoloring job.

The Gil Kane Action Comics run and Superman annual. Supes never looked more powerful.

I absolutely love the Wolfman/Swan then Wolfman/Kane early 80's Action run.  You take a step back and it is amazing how much went down - Superman breaking up with Lois, Lana Lang coming back into his life for an extended period, considerable public sentiment against Superman, Luthor and Brainiac redefined, a prototype for the later Luthor-as-corporate-overlord take in Vandal Savage, the Forgotten Heroes (a concept that shouldn't work but somehow totally does) and some of the best ever "Gil Kane punches" were thrown by Supes in this run.

Captain Action. Gil Kane inked by Wally Wood! There are no words. Never re-printed. A licensing thing I imagine.

CA Enterprises at NYCC said they are "getting closer" to seeing this reprinted.

I am not a big hardcover guy apart from DC's golden age era archives but here are some I'd love to see.

Animal Man by Grant Morrison Omnibus. The entire run could fit in one volume.  Stories like "The Coyote Gospel" and "The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" continue to knock me out each time I read them.

The Warlord Archives. Mike Grell at his peak as an artist.  The Savage Empire trade is long out of print and a hardcover reprinting of the title at least up until around the time Colletta started inking Grell would be awesome.  (This is not just your standard Colletta slam here; IMHO the storyline also went somewhat south when the book became a monthly concern.)

The Neal Adams Covers Collection.  All of Neal's DC covers in one book.  Whatever you think of the man you can't deny he basically provided the template for what super-heroes looked like for a long, long time.  And though there is so much focus on his late 60's/early's 70's work, some of his covers from the late 70's are breathtaking.

Oh shit, now you got me goin'
Great suggestions all but the grabber for me is the Adams cover collection. I think I've been waiting for that one since I was 12 years old. And y'know?, if you print 1 ya gotta print 'em all. This project would have to be a series especially if the covers were printed 1 to a page the way they deserve to be. While we're at it why not throw in the Joe Kubert cover collection? I just got "The Art Of Joe Kubert" and while being a great book it doesn't even begin to convey the all out awesomeness of Kubert's cover work. So many covers, so little time.

Got a few books scheduled to come from Amazon tomorrow and I can't wait, here's what I've got coming:

Legion of Super-Heroes: The Curse Deluxe Hardcover - This continues the collection of Paul Levitz and Keith Giffen's original run on the Legion and collects a whopping 16 issues of the regular book along with two annuals for over 500 pages of Legion goodness.

Firestorm - This collects Gerry Conway and Al Milgrom's original 5 issue run and then the first five issues of The Flash that featured Firestorm as a back-up all drawn by George Perez.  In addition, this is supposed to have Firestorm #6 (which I didn't even know existed) and had previously only saw print in Cancelled Comics Cavalcade.  My only wish is that the book would've gone a little longer and had included the next three issues of The Flash which featured The Nuclear Man as drawn by Jim Starlin.

The Steve Ditko Omnibus Vol. 1 - I've already seen this book and man, that just got me psyched-up even more for it.  This collects the complete runs of Shade The Changing Man and Stalker (including the 9th issue of Shade that was only published in Cancelled Comics Cavalcade) along with a huge assortment of stories that Ditko drew for various DC anthology books like Time Warp, Plop!, House of Mystery, Mystery In Space and others.  464 pages of Ditko... I can't wait...
