I love Alan Moore.

I think it's a shame that his fame is basically limited to the comic book world, because his perspective is so goddamn large that it should easily transcend this medium.

I guess the "V" mask showing up in the occupy movement is quite an accomplishment, but I think Alan Moore should be a household name.

I think he gets his voice heard by more widely than just comic readers. He is very active on all sorts of things locally, like the youth project mentioned on the show notes of the Apocalypse video. He does art performances, writes novels and poetry, edits a magazine etc. He is an original thinker, and I feel his thoughts are heard. This thread is a good example of that.
