Chris needs to borrow the iFanboy speed review bell sometime.
At the end he'll be ringing it nonstop - comedy gold!

I haven't finished the episode but this might be King DAP's best episode ever Nice work with the drink selection for the episode. Plus he's talked more than the last 6 months worth of shows combined I keep getting spoiled when it comes to G.I. Joe because it takes me forever to get to them and I'm not vigilant about blocking out spoilers but it's still pretty fun when I eventually read it. Vince: Does Cobra Commander have the breasts? Also, I loooooove the dirty laugh (2hr 34min mark for example). I hope you never change buddy EDIT: Okay now I'm done listening. I was cracking up at how Jason was doing a David this episode, felt like he talked for 5 mins total He could barely get a word in during the DKR talk Chris and David going at it was AMAZING! I approve of the vodka I'm a foodie so Vince hating on Chris' predilection for food is just wrong Still funny though And what was that about the new Conan movie? We were gonna check it out this weekend but if you guys say it's shit then I might reconsider.

I was trying to balance not spoiling the big moments with why I was ultimately nonplussed the much of the effort. Hard balancing act. One I think I flubbed a bit.
I thought it was a good breakdown... maybe not spoiling things boxed you in a little bit?

Great episode, gents. (Perhaps redundant) But, thank you! In regards to the DKR talk, I loved it. Listening to Chris and DAP "go at it" was definitely a change of pace for the crew which is refreshing. Granted there is nothing but respect being exchanged, so it's all good.

I first read DKR in 8th grade. As for the influence in other comics, I remember reading Chuck Dixon's Green Arrow and for awhile he was leading toward the DKR future. I remember there was a moment when Ollie had his arm in a bomb and Superman was gonna have to cut it off. But then Dixon flipped it by having Olllie opt out.

The definitive Batman...? http://www.pvponline.com/my-parents-are-dead/there, argument over. How come whenever people get into this "definitive Batman" no one mentions the Steve Englehart era. Silver St. Cloud, the Joker in "The Laughing Fish." it reestablished the dark in Dark Knight. For me It defined a Batman when I was going up. High five to you on this sir. As DAP also mentioned in the episode, Dark Knight Returns is a great Batman story but I wouldn't call it the "definitive Batman" story. For me at least, the 70's era stories like "Joker's Five Way Revenge" and "The Laughing Fish" fit that description much better.

I liked the new Conan flick. It's got lots of cool fights and some nice-looking sets.

I know at least once he decided to go ahead and take one at the end of the show.

I'm glad you liked it. For me? It was a lot of things I individually like, but together didn't come together. Mamoa has potential as an action hero though, the dude can act and, according to my wife, he "looks the part."

It's a shame you didn't get to Kirby's The Losers, but maybe everybody else can read it in time for next week.

For next week? Ain't gonna happen. Plus, I'd have to actually be able to have it to read it.

I plan to throw some notes together for next week. Loved it all, but the German officer and his penchant for Wagner and the Panama Fattie two-parter really stood out for me.

I have only flipped through my copy, but I loved the one pagers that focused on the weapons and uniforms of the war. Those were really nice. Bean
