Wtf is hamboning?
I associate it with the lesser elements of hillbilly music. Old Timey music made its most recent incursion into popular culture with the excellent film from 2000, "O Brother Where Art Thou" which launched a semi-revival. I recommend the movie and the soundtrack. It features the best of that style of music. Unfortunately due to what can only be described as horrendous child abuse 1, I was subjected to Hee Haw 2. No amount of professional help, nor self-medication has been able to remove those psychic scars. With that preamble and warning 3, venture at your own risk to sample some Hee Haw Hamboning. 1And I believe contravenes both the Geneva Conventions and the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights - citations ommitted. 2http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hee_Haw. This is the most generous description of that video-taped abomination. It makes the video referenced in the Ring horror film, seem like Sesame Street. Great Cthulhu itself could not conjure more horrific images. 3While no amount of exposure to it could be considered "safe" I believe a relatively stable individual with no previous exposure could withstand a thirty-five second dose with minimal long-term damage. Unsure if any studies have been commissioned to determine the exact LCt 50.

(but I do prefer Adventure Time). Adventure Time is lots of fun but I can't do a marathon like I can with Regular Show. After 3-4 eps of Adventure Time I have to stop and take a break whereas I can watch Regular Show all day and never get tired. I'm not the biggest Finn fan though. I kinda wish he was voiced by Billy West. Shit, just replace him with Fry!

While clearing off the TiVo this past weekend I landed on one of the two episodes I recorded last week. I said to Renee, "We'll watch one now, then one of your shows, and we'll watch the second episode later."
She did not have to tell me, "No, we're watching both episodes now." I'm saying she did not have to tell me because the look she gave me sent a chill from the top of my head to my taint. I knew I made a mistake as soon as I suggested it.
I don't know which I enjoy more: watching the cartoon or watching her watching the cartoon.

I that woman DUDE! And she slapped on three ZAGG InvisibleSHIELDs in, like, less than five minutes yesterday. And they look like a professional applied them! I need about twenty minutes to prep the area and another five to wipe the device's screen before I even think I'm ready to put it on. I was in awe.

I don't use protection If you did, that'd be some weakass shit! I've seen fucked up and scratched to shit screens on PDAs. Especially ones that use a stylus. It's a habit that dates back to my Pilot/PalmPilot/Palm days. It's probably not as necessary with today's devices (that do not use a stylus), but I can be rough with my toys even when I'm careful.
