I love how you offer up Wendi's place Bob.  Be sure to tell her later.   Wink

Wendi's great.  I met her at the Hero Initiative party last year... I said, hey... I know your voice.  She took the picture of me, Chris Campbell, Wood, Chris Neseman, and Mario that's on my sketch blog.

She'll do anything for Sampsa, she'll back me up on that one. Not all you other fools, Just Sampsa.

And her skype cooking buddies.

I'm hoping to attend this year.  But my major obstacle is accommodations.  I'm hoping that maybe anyone may have some suggestions for inexpensive lodging for this weekend?

FYI, there are no inexpensive accomodations near the show.  However, many guys find roomies for the weekend to offset the cost.  I'm staying at the Hyatt with three other forumites.  Makes for a wild weekend.

I've already sketched tiles for a 4th.  This time a regular Justice League one

The problem is that with the center downtown, everything is pretty pricy.  If I catch anything, I'll let you know.

Me and a friend of mine stayed at the Congress last year for about 120 for two twin beds. It's an older hotel so it had a lot of cool character. I think we're going to try and stay there again. (Still waiting for him to commit). It wasn't too bad of a distance from the Con. We walked to the Con (a pretty good hike though) It was right across from the lake, nice to wake up to.

Vince should bring Batman: The Odyssey so Neal can redraw the faces now instead of waiting a few years for the collection.

ZING!!  I was trying to think of something clever to say about this over Twitter today, but refrained 'cause I couldn't come up with anything good.  Glad I didn't 'cause you would've upstaged me.  Well done.

Wonder if Neal will hold a panel to discuss the intricacies of Batman Odyssey.  Now THAT would be entertaining.

I'm going to be booking all my flights and accomodations this weekend and wanted to sort out if anyone else was interested in going to the Bulls vs Heat game on the Thursday night before the con. Let me know before then either here or by direct message. It's pretty pricey, you can check here for rough prices:

http://www.vividseats.com/nba-basketball/chicago-bulls-tickets/bulls-4-12-1233321.html

Probably going to book on Sunday arvo (roughly 4am US EST) so if you're interested le me know, thanks guys. If not, hopefully I'll meet a lot of you guys at the con!

If you haven't heard Gabe Hardman's story about when Neal reviewed his portfolio back in his younger days, then you need to find the old episode where Gabe is on the show and listen.

...Let's just say that "Karma's a bitch sometimes".
