Friday was a success for me. Here are the three sketches I nabbed at the show: Sue Storm by Chrissie Zullo Kilowog by Chris Hamer Savage Dragon by Jason Howard Also got to talk to VinceB, DAP, hxcscarecrow, New Mutant, Slurmo, Gobo, JtHD, pdaaat, and many others. And that's just the opening ceremonies. Tomorrow will be epic, I'm sure!  |

Had a fun time today, meeting all the guys and walking around taking it all in.
No surprise that Vince and I got along smoothly like long lost friends.
Tomorrow will be pretty great, now that all the introductions have been made and of course we will all miss Wood-San.

I had a fun day. I met a bunch of cool people (including our very own Steve Bryant), picked up some cool books (Athena Voltaire, Smoke and Mirrors, Blankets, Cowboy, Replacement Gods, and E-Man), and had an awesome time taking on Mark Waid at Silver Age Trivia, where not once but twice I wowed the audience by answering a question based off the first 2 or 3 words ("What hero" and "What Wonder Woman villain"). Alas, Mark still beat us handily, but we all had fun!
Tomorrow, I plan to spend as much time as possible in Artist's Alley -- I only managed to get through about 20% of it today, so I've got a bunch more artists to meet!

Got a good start on the con yesterday. Swamp Thing by Phil Hester, Firestorm by Jamal Igle, and Booster Gold by Kevin McGuire. Need a few more for the jams.
Also and more importantly, saw a bunch of the guys. And Rowland already asked where the hat was. It stayed home again today but wearing the Satan Sabres jersey
