Here's a better look at my pride and joy from the show.  A pin-up of Adam Strange done by Chris Burnham.  Unfortunately this never saw print in a book, but Chris does sell a (colored) print of it at shows (as well as a button of Adam's head from it).

I've been checking this everyday on Cadence to see if it was still available for about 3 months.  I could no longer resist when I was holding it my hands at Paolo's booth.

Thanks to Wood for giving me advice on buying this piece.

This was hands down the best convention I have ever been to. Super bummed that I never got to meet some of you awesome guys BUT everyone I did meet was fantastic!

Didn't get a ton of loot but the highlights were doing some improv comedy in Chicago (Friday) and drinking with everyone at the Hyatt (Saturday).

Can't wait for next year!

Crazy busy catching up at work so I can't post individual shots but here are some of the pics from this weekend.

I'll add more, tag 'em with names and locations as I am able to

plus I'm swiping any tweeted pics and all posted ones (just people not hauls)

I missed you too! The show was great. I think part of the reason I enjoyed this convention so much is because it felt like an actual vacation and reunion of sorts with both comedy AND comic book people. When I wasn't hanging out with one group I was out with another.

I wish I could have hung out with more 11OC people more. I did get to meet Slurmo, Anti-Drummer, Felipe and Pat Loika (and I am sure I am forgetting somebody, if so I am sorry.)
I ran into David and Vince a couple of times, I wish I could have seen more of them too. I also didn't see Neseman until Sunday. I kept walking by the Heroclix retailer expecting to see him there.  Cheesy

All in all it was a great convention, Dave Accampo was my hotel roommate and I got to pal around with Jimski and other iFanboy staff. Also Hank and I got silly drunk at some sleazy after hours place. Silly! Drunk!
I definitely plan on attending next year.

As I stated before.  It was great to finally meet a ton of you guys.  Now I can't wait for NYCC

Anyway, the haul of spending way more than I should have but way less than this was worth.

Almost a complete run of IDWs Transformers ongoing minus issues 4 and 5, Ironhide mini, and Hearts of Darkness. All a buck a pop.

Iron Man 104, 108, 116, 130, 132, 142, 150, 167 all 50 cents each, GIJoe RAH 173 ($1), and Wolverine X-Men 3 (cover) and signed books Amazing 666 by Slott, Batman 1 and 5 by Snyder, X-Force by Remender, Superman by Perez, Dark Knight by Finch, and Batman Robin by Gleason

And now the good stuff.

Original Batman Inc page by Burnham

Web of Spidey #101 pg 7 by Alex Saviuk

Added Baroness to GIJoe Jam thanks to Seeley

Added Scarlet Witch from Perez and Cap from Saviuk to Avengers Jam

Started a general DC Jam with Swamp Thing by Hester, Kyle GL by Gleason, Firestorm by Igle, and Jonah Hex by Bill Sienkewicz

And my favorite, my JLI piece gets a Booster Gold by Kevin McGuire and an Ice by Billy Tucci
