I owe bean a beer for last years Xmas exchange since I got tied down with work last C2E2 and would love to meet some of the other forum members.

I was joking with Palmiotti about this at the first one.  He goofed that they grabbed a table and waitress for that exact reason.  The wait was just horrific.

I got there early last year and scored a prime seat AT the bar. Didn't have to deal with wait times that much. Although not having to wait just meant I ended up hammered that much faster.

I've switched my reservation to the Best Western, which is only a mile away from the event and has the official free shuttle. Still an extra bed, but now about 50 a night per person.
