Killed my second Dragon last night. The fire resistance granted to me by being a Dark Elf almost makes it too easy.

Although the charge you get whenever you see a dragon fly overhead is pretty incredible.

Agreed. And it only happened to me once, but it is very possible to have TWO dragons attack you at the same time

With regard to universal monsters (I'm trying to be spoiler free) I can honestly say that,

i got turned and like a muppet, didn't immediately head for medical help. I ended up being a level 4 vampire (this just means you're hungry) and it's a pain in the arse. You get some cool powers but wherever you go, people automatically try to kill you. I couldn't even do the vampire cure missions because the man who could help me kept trying to kill me. I reloaded an old save to sort it out.

Now up to level 28, with 78 destructive magic- I can barbecue a goat in seconds. Whistle

Ha, that is sweet thanks for the post.

I don't know if anyone else had a similar experience but I was about 30 hours into the game before I realized you had to eat the ingredients. I kept going to the Alchemy table and assuming I didn't have the proper stuff. I ate a little of everything then I had tons of recipes and was able to level up like a boss at the alchemy table.

Wait, what?

If you eat stuff you gain recipes?

Eating it (I'm not sure how one eats an antler, but whatever...) gives you the first effect of four.

I noticed on a load screen that it said you needed to eat ingredients to learn their effects. After doing so I went to an Alchemy table again and it showed me what I needed to combine to make potions. Whew, glad I wasn't the only one!

One tip I got that sounds like a winner is finding the Lover Stone.
It grants +%15 growth in ALL skills. If you don't want to run back to different stones for the 20% growth bonus.

Motherfuckers are gonna make me break down and buy my first console in I don't know how long.

Wait, we got the Wii when it first came out, but before that the last thing I played on was the original PlayStation.  So yeah, years.

Believe the hype, its worth it.  Yes

For the most part I am a casual gamer at best. I would say I have logged about an average of 30 minutes a week for the past 5 years until this game. I must of put in 20 hours of Skyrim last week.

I've never been a PC gamer, but in reading the Skyrim stuff online, it's clear that the PC angle has perks in the form of the command console. If you're into that sort of thing, you basically are GOD in the PC realm, and can add/tweak almost any aspect of the game at your leisure.

And the graphical mods alone make the game even more awesome. It takes an amazing looking game and makes it look....amazingier

And the mod tools haven't even been released yet

The only downside is no resting bonus. I don't get resting bonuses anyway

Hi, I'm a level 35 Redguard.  I specialize in archery with shield and sword as my back up.  I spent entirely to much time leveling blacksmithing all the way to 100; I just forged my first set of dragon armor.

I have a question though; for some weapons the game says I do not have the skill to upgrade them more, yet I'm at a hundred.  Is there a way to boost your skills past that, even if only temporally.

I also got this game a week before finals and literally had to have my sister hide it after playing it for a couple of hours because I knew I would not study if I knew where the disk was.
