Yep. This is by far the most egregious glitch I've come across. This is quite a bit beyond say attacking Shadowmere repeatedly to up your one-handed attack, or sneaking up on one of the Greybeards and attacking repeatedly to up your Sneak.

This is literally breaking the game. The video of the guy barehand punching the elder dragon was funny though.  Roll On Floor Laughing

Looks like something you can do after you've played out the game and just want to run around and destroy stuff.

I do think I'll use this trick tonight. But only once as it's probably the way it was designed to be used.

These glitches are fun if you just want to run around killing entire towns. But for the actual game they are overkill.

I haven't found too many enemies that are that hard to kill. ONly ones that give me any trouble are the mages that swarm you and spam you with ice spikes. Even then I down a ton of Stamina potions and go to town.

Awesome. How many hours in are you, what's your total level? I ask because while I too found those Speech perks intriguing, as I mapped out how I wanted to spend my perks, it was tough to justify filling up that tree if I also wanted to max out: Archery, One Handed, Smithing, Alchemy and Enchanting.

Level 49. Is there a way to check hours played on Xbox? I don't know how and was looking for a little while, couldn't find it by myself, might check online later. I've gotten about 35 of the words learned and about 6 mastered shouts. Pretty awesome. I think I figured out why the dragons weren't attacking me before as well. I think I had too many (5) dragon souls saved up. Seemed to start attacking me again once I found a few more Word Walls.

If Wood's character could jump into your Skyrimverse he would jack ur shit!  Don't be tellin' people how much loot u got in ur house son!

I was actually more taunting than I ended up being in my post, but I scaled it back a few notches because I felt like I was tempting fate a bit too much and my Xbox would explode in retribution! Wink

PS. That glitch sounds cool but also like you guys have pointed out would quickly break the game for me. Like Chris says, maybe for after I complete all the story lines I want to I'll break it out and punch some dragons in the face.

Yeah, the Fortify Restoration trick completely breaks the game.
I played around with it last night and ended up making a sword that one hit kills anything it touches. I may just keep it in my inventory for those most frustrating times when I can't make it through a boss.

Besides that...
I spent 2 hours organizing my shit across my two houses last night. It honestly felt like real housekeeping. I found myself well after midnight deciding what armor would look best on my two mannequins and decided that I'd lost my mind.

You have lost your damn mind.  Roll On Floor Laughing

But I love ya for it.

Just to make sure you don't think I'm not self aware of my own issues...I was leveling up smithing last night while chilling at an Imperial camp, and the game froze just as I was getting into level 90.   Bangs Head  So this morning rather than letting the boys watch a cartoon with me before I got ready for work, I made them watch me re-make about 30 leather bracers that I then fine tuned into Epic Leather Bracers.  Roll On Floor Laughing

Speaking of lag, freezing etc.
Where do you go to erase old save points?

I need to clear that shit out.

Speaking of the two houses.

I'm using the house in Whiterun as my Smithing house. Since it's next door, it makes it easy to keep everything I need in the front room chest. All my metals, jewels, smithing gear in one spot.

I've moved all of my alchemy & enchanting materials to Solitude because the basement there is set-up to do both. I also love the ability to display some of the cooler armor & weapons there. It also has a TON of bookcases.

I may buy the houses in Riften & Markath just to have places closer to quest points. Having the cash available to outfit each house with cool stuff is fun.

I decided to leave all of the stuff laying around the new house as is. It just looks nice having a stocked house, and I don't really need the food or alchemy stuff.

I feel like Nick Fury setting up safe houses.

I've debated spreading things out among multiple house, but thus far have just stuck with Whiterun.  The lack of an enchanting table is super annoying, but I just downloaded a mod that adds an enchanter right next to the alchemy table.   Cheesy

Where do you go to erase old save points?

I need to clear that shit out.

There are several ways.

One, in the initial load game, when you pull up the menu, you can go in and delete each instance with the X button (on the Xbox).

Or, if you're in the middle of the game, you can just pull up the save game screen and if you notice down on the bottom left it says "Delete X"...and you can go through and delete as needed.

I'm not sure if there's a bulk delete option. I went in and just deleted the few hundred in rapid succession. I'm keeping 10 save points now, and just rolling back to the start as needed.

Shit, I feel the pull. I've been avoiding it since it came out because I know its a time sucker but Im going to get it this weekend when the wife takes the kids out of town.

Question,
X-Box or PS3. I have both any preferences?

FWIW, it seems that the PS3 has more bugs, at least it seems that way when I am talking about the game with other 'Rimmers

I'm playing on PS3 and the only issue I've experienced so far is the occasional crash if I have too many saves built up. I don't know if one looks better than the other though.

The PS3 version still has some issues, which will be addressed in the Skyrim 1.4 patch due out this week or next.  Whether that will fix the remaining issues on the PS3 remains to be seen.  If you want to be on the safe side, I would probably go with the 360 version.

So in the last few sessions I've...

Killed the Silver Hand leader (Companions Quest)
Finished up the Greybeards requests
Rolled up to Dawnstar for shits and giggles since I was up that way anyway
As a result of that, I ended up doing the Waking Nightmare quest (for those wondering, I opted
not to kill Erandus, I figured I'm not a magic user anyway so I didn't need that staff)

One thing though, I'm just not seeing many dragons. It's been a bunch of sessions since I fought a dragon, and I'm jonesing.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I stumbled into the Hall of the Vigilant, and I was so very annoyed by the fact that every NPC said the same things to me over and over, and there was no questing to come of it, that I trained with the Vigilant Leader five times on the cheap, and then when my pickpocket of the 1350 gold failed, rather than revert to a save point, I slaughtered her and her entire cabin full of yahoos.   Roll On Floor Laughing

Lol, now that is awesome.

Admittedly I did then check my computer to make sure I didn't inadvertently ruin some major quest line. Once I found out that I had indeed not screwed up anything, I kept them dead.

One thing I realized last night though...you have to be careful randomly discovering places and laying waste to them.  I was doing the Companions Quest line and got to the point where Aela sent me to find and kill the Silver Hand leader. The random place it sent me was up north, near Dawnstar. I went up there and handled my business, no problem. BUT, I read later that if you happen to be assigned a spot by Aela where you've already gone and cleared, you can't complete her quest and, therefore, can't finish the Companions Quest line.

That would SUCK because it's been one of my main impetus through 60+ hours of playing.

I got lucky, but it has me wondering how many other possible quests I've derailed by slaying the people in random towers, redoubts, caves, camps, etc...
