Admittedly I did then check my computer to make sure I didn't inadvertently ruin some major quest line. Once I found out that I had indeed not screwed up anything, I kept them dead. One thing I realized last night though...you have to be careful randomly discovering places and laying waste to them. I was doing the Companions Quest line and got to the point where Aela sent me to find and kill the Silver Hand leader. The random place it sent me was up north, near Dawnstar. I went up there and handled my business, no problem. BUT, I read later that if you happen to be assigned a spot by Aela where you've already gone and cleared, you can't complete her quest and, therefore, can't finish the Companions Quest line. That would SUCK because it's been one of my main impetus through 60+ hours of playing. I got lucky, but it has me wondering how many other possible quests I've derailed by slaying the people in random towers, redoubts, caves, camps, etc... Yeah, I don't know. I think these kinds of glitches will eventually be worked out in future patches, especially glitches that prevent the completion of major quest lines. I've returned to previously-cleared locations for quests and haven't had a problem thus far...

But the house in Windhelm in tied to a quest that I could not complete because I had done other quests and the like. A bit annoying, but I got over it (I will get it next playthrough...)

So in the last few sessions I've... Killed the Silver Hand leader (Companions Quest) Finished up the Greybeards requests Rolled up to Dawnstar for shits and giggles since I was up that way anyway As a result of that, I ended up doing the Waking Nightmare quest (for those wondering, I opted One thing though, I'm just not seeing many dragons. It's been a bunch of sessions since I fought a dragon, and I'm jonesing. You're a better man than me. I haven't played for a few days, I need to go back and do the Dark Brotherhood quests.

I think I might be a bit burnt out on Skyrim. I'm at about 110 hours. I sat down this weekend intending to finish up the Mages Guilld, but I just couldn't summon up the motivation to trudge through another dungeon. I don't know, maybe I just need to take a little breather. I did progress on the Mages Guild stuff, right up to where

I'm 76 hours in and find myself streamlining my experience. I'm long past the "collect everything, pickpocket everything, complete every task" mode and am just focusing on the stuff I feel like doing. I finally made my way to Windhelm this weekend and got the first part of the Dark Brotherhood quest. I'm seriously considering skipping that and the Bards College stuff and just continuing on with the main quest.

I really enjoyed the main quest. I think it has the biggest "wow" moments of the game.

There are still tons of fun moments (for me), and surprises. I know it's a minor thing, but the fact there was a secret room in Riverwood (Delphine's joint), was so awesome to see. I also ended up fighting two dragons simultaneously last night, and also had a case where I was fighting a dragon, a giant and two mammoths simultaneously. That thrilled me, for sure. I'm seriously thinking about not building Dragonplate armor, even though I now have all the parts and perks. I LOVE my matching Ebony armor, which is all raised to Legendary status. Combined with the Otar mask (also raised to Legendary), and my other perks, and it's been a LONG time since anyone has really hurt me. I went head to head just slicing away at the dragon last night and never really felt like I was in danger. The ebony gear is BAWSE, especially with my mask/hood.

Dragon armor is technically stronger than Daedric, but the differences almost negligible, IMO. I made both Dragon armor and Dadedric armor, but I stuck with Daedric because it looks a lot cooler. I would definitely look into making Daedric, cause it also looks cool is definitely stronger than Ebony.

So.....played a lot this weekend.
My 19th level Smuggler Bym Blasto has been chasing that no good double crosser Skavek. After following him from Ord Mantell, Bym recovered his ship (his own Millenium Falcon) on Coruscant. He is in pursuit of Skavek and just landed on Taris. Have been working on his Cybertech crafting skills. Bym has 2 companions right nowm and I expect a third will join soon. Long live the Republic!
Oops....wrong game.......

Finally almost wrapped up the Companions Quest. While I've had much more difficult clear outs in the game so far, there was something REALLY satisfying about going in and wiping the Silver Hand off the map. It was total stealth. Not even sure I saw a red dot on my radar once. It was all sneak and stealth arrows for one hit.

I guess I'm not entirely burned out on Skyrim. Last night I wrapped up the Mage Guild, and also made it to 100 on enchanting and one handed. It was a lot of fun. Maybe I just need to be in the right mood for Skyrim, and I need to be okay if I feel like I want to play something else for a bit. There's still a lot of life left in this game, though.
So now I need to grow alchemy by about 35 levels, and then I'll be primed to make some killer gear.

I've completed the Companions & Thieves quests (Bard School as well, but it was really short). I'm focusing on clearing out the random misc. quests before I move on to the Mage or continue the Main quest. I am now the Thane of Whiterun, Markarth, Solitude & Riften. I love having different houses around the map to chill out. My wife is living in the Solitude house with my equally hot Housecarl. I have another Housecarl on the side in Riften, Lydia in Whiterun and my boys in Markarth to go drinking with.

Aela She's a good cook. Gets bored around the house so she opened up a shop in town. She can hunt for her own food. Handles a bow like a boss. And she's a beast in the bed. Literally.

The fruits of last night's labor: http://steamcommunity.com/id/percussionmasta/screenshots/With maxed enchanting, alchemy and smithing, I think this is some of the best gear I can make. I ran out and fought an ancient dragon with all this gear, and was pleased to find out that it's not game-breaking. It was definitely a quicker battle, but also not a one-hit kill affair, and an ancient dragon's flame still reduces life pretty quickly. This took about 3 hours last night, so I didn't actually get to use it much.
