Since Isotope is involved, probably San Francisco.

Maybe Glasgow, he could arrange it across the street from Millar's Kapow! Look forward to hearing what it will consist of, it'd be great if it embraced the fringe/conspiracy/occult/rock crowds, I'm sure Gerard Way will be there, at least. And Morrison could make a sequel to his legendary Disinfo lecture.

Kapow! is a London event, I can understand why just on the basis of available venues and population, there will be another Glasgow Comic Con this year though

My mistake. You're right, it is understandable that Millar organized it in London instead of Glasgow. Would have been coll if he had organized it in his home city, though. If he even lives there anymore.

I'm very tempted to see which other creators are attending! If the Isotope afterparty will be anything like their WonderCon parties, I'll definitely be attending!

They've been more miss than hit with me lately, but Monday's Gutters made me chuckle with the inclusion of this: That said, I still have a few questions about MorrisonCon:
Will the show feature only obscure silver-age guests that I'll need to Wikipedia before attending?
Can I assume that My Chemical Romance will be playing at some point over the weekend?
Will Grant himself show up on time, or will he be at another, longer convention meant to wrap up everything that was supposed to be addressed in the preceeding convention(s)?

Even though my devoted Morrison love waned a bit after reading the more pompous passages of "Supergods" and Action is the first book of his I've actively dropped, yeah, I still want to go.

So far, the guest list includes: Gerard Way, Jonathan Hickman, Frank Quitely, J.H. Williams III, and Chris Burnham. Might have to quit my job and go to this.

This is going to be a very interesting experience.
Basically 10 guests of honor and a free form access to those guys versus a traditional "con" environment.
It's going to be in Vegas at the Hard Rock, which I think will put a bit of a different spin on the attendees, as it's been my experience that a lot of traditional comic fans probably aren't big fans of the Vegas scene.
