I was writing off all the left over x-mas stuff from the housewares dept. and took an old snow man cookie cutter and bent it into the shape of a big dong.  Then I went to the boss and told him that this was a customer return and they said they were horribly offended and wrote a letter to the regional offices.  He bought it hook, line, and sinker.  Started panicking, "Is she still in the store?  Give her a gift card for god's sake!"

When I came into work today I got pulled into the office and got a talking to concerning this.  All they told me was that someone was offended (irony).  They even went into my personal file to see if I was due for a sexual harassment course (ridiculous).  I love my job…but man, sometimes when dealing with corporations that spend so much time covering their ass (if I saw a big copper dick coming my way, I would cover my ass too)…but still, it does take the fun out of things.
