I'm back in New York after my (excellent) trip to San Diego. Two hours of back-breaking sleep on the red eye flight, and two books to read for tomorrow means no photos from me today, but I'll catch up before the weekend, both with posting my own stuff and looking through all your awesome pictures  Yes

April 5 - I love when tree tops around my house are lit from below by a setting, or in this case, a rising Sun

At least you can find it! Where I live you can basically leave Amazon marked boxes out in the open and chances are it will not get touched. The thing is the delivery people tend to dump our stuff in bushes on the side of the house where if I'm not expecting it, I might not find it for days. The next time it happens, I'll have to take a picture...

Well once, only once they threw it over the gate into the back yard. I found it on trash day. I'm lucky the dogs didn't decide to eat it or a rainstorm hit. I was pissed as that particular package was a gift for someone.

Mike Ploog is one of my favorite artists and not only that, but he is a really interesting dude.  Insightful dialog to how he feels about the whole Ghost Rider debacle and his years working at Marvel.  If you're a fan of the guy, I suggest picking this up.

April 6th

This week's Garage Sale/Thrift Store scores...

April 7th

One of the best days of my life happened today...Three years ago, this BMW 740i which we bought used totally crapped out on us. We decided that was it, put too much money into it. We tried to sell it but the better half consistantly wanted too much money...so it sat...and sat...and sat! We finally found a buyer and it took three tries to get it on the trailer. So happy to see this car leave the driveway. Have to say I learned a lot about cars dealing with this one.
