April 7th

One of the best days of my life happened today...Three years ago, this BMW 740i which we bought used totally crapped out on us. We decided that was it, put too much money into it. We tried to sell it but the better half consistantly wanted too much money...so it sat...and sat...and sat! We finally found a buyer and it took three tries to get it on the trailer. So happy to see this car leave the driveway. Have to say I learned a lot about cars dealing with this one.

I personally don't like it when I'm physically hanging onto things that aren't doing me any good so it's good to hear that you finally got rid of it.

Looks great! I might have to hunt that down. Does the game have anything to do with Xenogears?

Xenogears, Xenosaga, and Xenoblade were all done by Monolith and specifically by Tetsuya Takahashi.  They are only connected "spiritually".  Oh yea…BTW, it's a Gamestop exclusive…which you may or may not see me ranting about it in the video game thread

I was writing off all the left over x-mas stuff from the housewares dept. and took an old snow man cookie cutter and bent it into the shape of a big dong.  Then I went to the boss and told him that this was a customer return and they said they were horribly offended and wrote a letter to the regional offices.  He bought it hook, line, and sinker.  Started panicking, "Is she still in the store?  Give her a gift card for god's sake!"

Two for April 15th!




For some reason the birds around here have been acting weird. I have seen in the last week two instances where these grey with white feathers brids have been chasing much larger birds in the air. I walk outside today and see two of these birds fighting on my front lawn. They first were sizing each other up on the ground and then would fly up, fight for a few seconds and separate. This was still going on a hour and half later when I came back...weird!




This should go in the rant section but I had to capture this insanity on jpeg! My wife has always had a Nissan Pathfinder since 1995. Sadly, since 2000 they went for a more truck like model, it's like driving a brick on wheels, but alas the wife must drive this thing! The real problem is if you get a flat, the stock jack WILL NOT LIFT THE TRUCK HIGH ENOUGH TO CHANGE THE TIRE PROPERLY!!!! I have spoken to the dealer about this like three times and the only answer I get is, "That's what they give us." So yesterday, the wife gets spike in the tire close to home and out comes THREE jacks...

Don't buy these SUVs...only hassles and problems lie ahead...
