This is seriously in the running for best thread of 2012. Awesome stuff, I need to plunge the long boxes and see what gems I still got from the late 80s, and the scattered issues of my pop's collection I still have. And sir, your new avatar is simply genius. |

EDIT: Answered my own question. DC was officially National until 1977. Huh.
wow. That's right they had the DC Bullet but it did say National on the ring. Nice edit. It's good trivia.  |

Who's the artist for those Luke Cage and Iron Fist pieces? Sienkiewicz?
I have to admit I enjoy the old ads for comics that no-one talks about. How many ads for "Hammer Locke" were there? I've never heard/read anyone mentioning that title.
