I actually preferred them that way. That's just me though, I like being able to magnify tiny details.

I'm thinking about whether to spend $19 on getting the 3 issues on eBay (I already have the first). Seems like a lot of money for 3 issues Sad

That does sound like a lot. It was the early 90's so you would think even a low print run on something a little out of the ordinary would still be plenty of copies out there.

I own the whole X-men series 1 card set by Jim Lee. It's the reason I read comics.

I am like Nostradamus in that I predicated I would love this episode and I did. The new segment is tremendous and already tearing up the forum. You would think Chris, Alan and Steve had been doing that segment since the beginning. My apologies if wrong, but I think this is Chris Campbell's first Noise appearance. I like it.

I saw the omnibus but looked too fat. I think thinner volumes but maybe when it is on sale for cheap.  I was wounded that King DAP would think we want less, "sully" indeed.  We want more. We want more. We want more. We want more. Magneto, Not a Hero is surely a good book but the title just seems silly.  Sounds like a Metallica song.

Keep up the great work and keep making mine Marvel Noise.

PS, if you stick to the very, very end, you hear something that you normally don't hear on Marvel Noise.  Easter Egg.

But then you wouldn't get like 70 pages of extras  Tongue . Waiting for my copy to arrive and completely check them out.

It is very silly but I was still surprised,
profanity in the song. One may let "shit" go (even though oft repeated) but, hee, hee, "Motherfucking" I am like 9 years old mentally

Shocked That is uncharacteristic. The same reason I usually use distinguished competition on the podcast  Wink

Thanks, guys...we're already giddy as hell that the new FF issues are out today and can't wait to dig into 'em and do this thing again!

I own the whole X-men series 1 card set by Jim Lee. It's the reason I read comics.

I've got the set, among others, in binders from undergrad days in late 80s-early 90s (I bought a box and still have the box, too!).....can't wait for my kiddo to discover all of these!

I don't think I completed those cards either. I was getting mostly doubles/triples from a friends who bought a box of the cards. I bought an issue like that too but the cards blown up that big didn't do it for me since some of them didn't look right at that size.

I've got all of those card art pin up comics down in the bunker....I really liked seeing the brushstrokes and canvas showing through with the enlarged Hildebrant Masterpiece cards

I'll check to see if I still have doubles somewhere...you and Dan are welcome to 'em if you still have incomplete sets somewhere

Thanks man.  We had a great time, and it was certainly my first time on the Marvel Noise.  We've already picked the next creator spotlight, and I'm picking up 602 and FF14 at the shop this weekend.  With Galactus in the teaser art, the Kree vs. Johnny's Light Brigade battle may take an interesting turn.  Daddy's here...

I've got both of these Omniboo.  How could I pass up?  The Claremont/Lee X-Men are my X-Men.  You don't know how many times I drew the covers to #275-277.

The masterpiece cards are a different story. I bet those looked great but I never picked up any of those comics.

I have most of them and I think the omnibus will tide me over. I have them in old binders. A super huge one with my Todd Mcfarlane/Marvel Universe/Masterpieces cards and a smaller Magic the Gathering binder. The last sentence was your useless knowledge for the day Wink

Thanks for dropping the knowledge, but it is sad if we have reached the point where we need instructions before reading a Marvel Comic Book.

Not instructions, per se, more identifying order, like issue numbers do.

Think of each FF ish as a Fantastic Four .1 ish accompanying the main title.

Fantastic Foresights featuring Steve Raker, Alan White, and Chris Campbell.

I got an FF-earful from Alan at Baltimore last summer, and after that, there is no way this isn't going to be the soundtrack for the ride home from work tonight.
