The show was great as always.  I'm glad you guys talked about The Infinite controversy.  I was wondering what you guys thought.

I expected you guys to talk more about the second wave of 52 titles.  I'm interested in your thoughts about the proposed books and creators involved.  I thought for sure Vince would have something to say about "Earth-2".

I can't speak for the other guys, but I'm a little New 52'd out.  At least in terms of treating it as something we have to discuss. I think we're past the point of the major news, and it's now about discussing the books as they come up, if we are enjoying something in particular.

As to the new slate of books, here's a quick thumbnail of my views:

*** Deathstroke -- I will give this a try because it's Rob, but I have my doubts on sticking with it. Just not a character I generally like very much

*** The Ravagers -- Absolutely no interest

*** G.I. Combat -- Love the concept, but with a Krul/Olivetti tandem, it's a pass for me.

*** Dial H -- Probably the one I'm most intrigued by. Don't know much about Mieville, but I'm certainly on board for the first few issues

*** Worlds Finest -- If there's one character I find a tough sell, it's Power Girl. Pass.

*** Earth 2 -- Intriguing, because I dug JSA in a big way and like Nicola Scott's work. I'll give this one a try and hope that I'm getting the James Robinson of Shade/Starman fame and not the one who just wrote the Justice League

*** Batman Inc -- OBVIOUSLY I'm all over this, you've got Morrison doing his Batman thang to perfection and Burnham -- a friend and a crazy good talent -- right along side him.

These are verrrrrrrrrrrrrry different books. I wouldn't be at all surprised if each appeals to some, while not the other. Although knowing your tastes and that of many on these boards, I suspect both will curl your toes.

 Yes

No worries.  My tastes run the gamut between men-in-tights, to horror, Johnny Ryan, and whichever way the wind blows.  As long as the tale sounds compelling, I'm all in!

I shall fear no comics!!  Yes

Discovered Rafael Gallur's DA gallery not too long ago. Has a real Bruce Timm/Dan Brereton vibe to me. Love it.

This is my feeling on the matter as well.

*** Deathstroke

I'm sticking with it for now.

Quote
*** The Ravagers -- Absolutely no interest

Ditto.

Quote
*** G.I. Combat -- Love the concept, but with a Krul/Olivetti tandem, it's a pass for me.

Olivetti scares me off this more than Krul, but it's still something I won't be checking out.

Quote
*** Dial H -- Probably the one I'm most intrigued by. Don't know much about Mieville, but I'm certainly on board for the first few issues

I'll see what this one's about.

Quote
*** Worlds Finest -- If there's one character I find a tough sell, it's Power Girl. Pass.

I want to say I'll be there, but the fear of it crossing over with

Quote
*** Earth 2 -- Intriguing, because I dug JSA in a big way and like Nicola Scott's work. I'll give this one a try and hope that I'm getting the James Robinson of Shade/Starman fame and not the one who just wrote the Justice League

is keeping my interest from being piqued.

*** Batman Inc -- OBVIOUSLY I'm all over this, you've got Morrison doing his Batman thang to perfection and Burnham -- a friend and a crazy good talent -- right along side him.

Even with Burnham, I bailed on Batman & Robin early in the title's run and only gave Batman, Inc. a couple issues.  I don't see me returning after all this time.

I'm glad DC almost waited a year before introducing a parallel universe.  Doesn't mean part of me isn't wondering it's the one left behind in Flashpoint.  Or if Pandora is the doorway between 'em.

Cannot wait for the "Red Rain" Mega-Event where we get to see all the new DC heroes as vampires.

With shoulder pads and pouches.  You know it can happen with Rob weaving his magic in a few books...

Enjoyed the episode as usual. As someone who really liked the art in Batman but was so-so on the story. I was about to drop it but #5 kept me in it. So if you were on the fence, try issue 5, but read it before you listen to this if possible.

The book suckered me in so much that it took me a minute to realize I had the book turned around. A great moment of surprise

Keep up the good work.

Hmmm, no sketching required . . .
