This weekend I'm tying the knot, and I was thinking what were the best weddings in comics.
My favorite is Aunt May marrying J. Jonah Jameson, Sr. just because it added a great dynamic to the Spider-Man mythos by making Spidey's nemesis his cousin; but it also felt really organic in the way it was written.
Anyone else?

Donna Troy and Terry Long from Tales of the New Teen Titans #50. Dinah Lance and Oliver Queen from that should-have-ended-four-pages-sooner Green Arrow and Black Canary Wedding Special. Susan Storm and Reed Richards from Fantastic Four Annual #3

My favorite will always be AVENGERS # 60 ("Till Death Do Us Part") featuring the wedding of The Wasp to Yellowjacket. Not only does it have the Circus of Crime, but it features the pencils of my all time favorite artist John Buscema.
It's possible I have read that issue more than any other single issue ever. I stiil have the falling apart copy of the story from a reprint of Marvel Triple Action. Great stuff.

Congrats man! I'm getting married at the end of July myself. While this may not be one of the best weddings in comics, the Superman and Lois Lane wedding issue holds a special place for me. After we got engaged my fiance went to a comic shop to find some kind of comic that had a wedding in it and came up with that issue.

Congrats to you, as well. I was actually leafing through that issue a couple of days ago. For some reason, Clark getting a haircut is my favorite part of the issue. Probably it's because the mullet was going bye bye.

For some reason this is my favorite off the top of my head, especially with the hijinks leading up to it (best bachelor party ever): http://www.leaderslair.com/noexcuses/hulk2-418.htmlAlso: Iron Man. Oh wait, he is not married, he is just drinking champagne in hotubs full of supermodels, my bad.

Totally agree on this one!! It was one of the first times, as a kid, that I saw all the heroes of the Marvel U just hanging around and gathered for for an event that wasnt crime-fighting. The Vision and Scarlet Witch also stands out. And who can forget Peter and Mary Jane...? No matter what Marvel tells us these days. Peter and MJ are married. Are soul mates. Are Together. Period. 'NUFF SAID!

Loved that issue. There was also a great ashcan issue that went a long with it. Hilarious stuff.

Gotta go with FF Annual, read that over and over as a kid.
Also X-Men 30 (I think), Jean and Scott's wedding.

Loved that one! Impossible Man invited everyone. That was also the last time Rom appeared.
