Keep in mind my "dislike" of Bagge is very surface level. I've not liked the style, so I've never endeavored to read his work and get past the initial visuals.

I can see that. I appreciate his work a lot more in recent years due to the mania of his style subsiding. all that aside I read HATE for the story more than anything. He's a fine writer

Regarding Adventure Time I always thought there was a certain affinity between it and the pod. Some of the crazy stuff they come out often reminds me of you guys especially Jason and his lingo. But then again I would defend Adventure Time.
