Nah…I was just venting cause I'm getting really tired of the cat jumping on the bed and staring at me while Im hang sex with my girlfriend.  Not only is it unsettling, but its also bad timing.

Also, a good buddy of mine here on the forums and on twitter dislikes all manga/anime. I'm not mad, to each his own, but it's kinda like when someone says they dislike all comics. Baffled.

 

I'm baffled mostly about my workplace at the moment.

- People who constantly complain how much they hate their job. Especially one person I work with has openly told management how much she hates her job. JUST QUIT! We all have moments where we dislike our jobs at some point, but it usually passes. This person is constantly saying it, and then the big bosses pander to her and give her reduced shifts, and less duties on the same money as the rest of us who bust our butts. Which brings me to my next point....

- Management rewarding workers who are constantly complaining, never showing up or just incompetent. As a few people here know, I work as an Ambulance Dispatcher. Most days we deal with life and death, and I love that I get to help people. There are many, many people at work who are always late, or off sick, but as soon as they want something, management cave (changing shift hours, leave, promotions etc). When I wanted to change some leave over as I had been fairly sick in the last 12 months, I had to jump through hoops even though I work my bum off, have some of the best stats in the place, and am a senior employee. But then the head honchos say they don't reward bad behaviour??

By the way, I found it funny how you complained about people who complain about their jobs... and then proceeded to complain about an aspect of your job

I get what you mean though. If it's a minor thing then complain away but if you hate your job way more than you like it then leave. Sure, the money might be nice but what good is that gonna do to you if you just drop dead from a heart attack or stroke because of your overwhelming hate for your job? Life's too short to be stuck doing something you despise.

Welp, for starters, I'm baffled by the way New Yorker pedestrians don't stop for the red light until they are about ten feet into the street, just inside of the "Creamed-By-The-Right-Turning-Bus-Or-Truck" Zone.  And how they begrudgingly back up, not all the way to the sidewalk mind you, when an approaching vehicle NEEDS the lane they're standing in -- you know, SINCE THE VEHICLE ACTUALLY DOES HAVE THE LIGHT.

Baffled.

i am baffled by the number of people that bring young children (i'm talking 5 or under) to movies that are CLEARLY not appropriate.  there was a couple with a little girl that couldn't have been more than 4 years old when i went to see THE GREY yesterday.  that's a movie with a very intense plane crash that is followed by over an hour of WOLVES MURDERING PEOPLE.
