Lookitthat! Nice and early! Thanks, David! Marvel Super-Villain Team-Up Doom strutting! ('well you can tell by the way I use my walk.....') ....and people say fire and water don't mix Doom's collaborator revealed! The FF's brutal attack strategy to take down Namor For a supposedly stealthy guy, The Shroud sure keeps on being spotted You ever have a neighbor like this, with the early dog walks? Doom picked a bad day to have a bad day Catching them 'in the act' of vandalizing your ride seems so much more 'in your face' than discovering it after the fact Doom, I presume? Not a bad substitute throne room on the Atlantians hydrobase Cap skips off between panels and has a whole issue of adventure in MSVTU One of my favorite covers as a kid...I remember buying this off the rack and cutting out the Red Skull and other figures with scissors and spreading them out on the floor in action sequences of my own design The action sequence is just classic...and as promised by the cover! Giffen doing the Kirby monster thing....Atlantean-style I love the Sue chess piece as much as Doom does (note she's his side's color, not Reed's!) Ahhhh, so this is how he survived Enjoy!

Man, I don't think I remember actually reading those super-villain team-up issues. Looking forward to listening to that.
Dwayne McDuffie! Hope everyone enjoys.

Thanks for doing all the heavy lifting both on the audio and the visual front. Excited for more FF talk. Maybe this will get me back on the book (or at least reading some older stuff). Not sure if I should listen to this now or save it for later. The eternal dilemma....

Decided to listen. I love the Imperial Theme. Man, I could listen to that for hours. Great job. Super Steve is the BEST, as if there were any doubt.
With all this FF talk I hope you get to Paste Pot Pete. I just read the Spider-man/FF hardcover that just came out by Gage. In the back they reprinted a two parter (Spectacular and FF) with Spidey and the FF versus a reconstituted Frightful Four. The Trapster, how could I take him seriously with that silly name. Paste Pot Pete is the man.

Fantastic Foresights 02 Suzie makes Doom tell it like it is: When I saw this panel, the first thing I thought of was:

Listening to yourself on a podcast can be very painful. While listening, every time I heard myself interrupt Steve or Alan, I wanted to strangle myself through the iPhone. "Hey Chris, you asshole, he wasn't done talking, so wait you damn turn!" Squash that nonsense. It makes it more organic, more free-flowing, just dudes chattin'. Otherwise you get that stiff, debate-y kinda mess.

Very cool indeed. The price point may be 0.00 but the value is incalcuable.

Dude, I could talk silver and bronze age comics with you all day long Except Silver-Age Superman. Nobody. Nobody. Nobody enjoys talking about that.

Had a delay in my listening but just got to the Paste Pot Pete reference. Super Steve throwing me a little an Easter Egg and here it is Ash Wednesday. The Kirby frogs are just the best. Kirby really did some crazy stuff with that character.
I think the Silver Surfer on Earth can be problematic (although the old Defenders made it work), but I enjoyed his wacky space adventures in his series in the 80's. Unfortunately it looks like those types of books are no longer commercially viable. You need to have Spiderman, Wolverine or Deadpool showing up in your book and tied into the main world.
Really enjoyed the FF talk. Once I get caught up on some of my other comic homework, I will re-read some of that stuff. Thanks.
