This is a super meaty episode. Shit, I apologise that I have so much more than usual to write

David: "Chris is ready."
Jason: "Who?"
Oh snap!

I'm so with Chris on enjoying the people who read comics more than comics themselves. I've barely read anything this past year and a bit but I feel like I'm still in it because of all you guys.
I'm lucky I love both artists on T-bolts. Even though Declan and Kev have different styles, I don't really mind. I'd much rather they switch up than Larocca on all the issues. Ah dammit, here I go missing old Larocca again. I might have to reread those old FF issues.
Regarding Spidey and Wolvie on Avengers: it doesn't feel wrong to me in the sense that they don't deserve to be members. These guys have either saved the world or helped save the world numerous times. They may not be considered big guns but you're telling me that Spidey and Wolvie are worse than every other person that they've given a membership card to? Nah son! I'm sure they've accepted people who've done much less and can't fight as well than Spidey and Wolvie.
If it's the whole thing about no killing then fine, I get that. Avengers shouldn't need to kill. But hey, the great Captain America himself recruited Wolverine. Dude had his back during the war, gotta mean something. Cap had use for Bucky's killamajig skills during the war, didn't he? Sure, you can make a case that it ain't wartime. But I'm sure there are times when it feels like they're fighting a war. Maybe Wolverine shouldn't be an Avenger. But hey, Cap formed that secret team didn't he? Put him in that then. At least have Logan's number on speed dial in case of an emergency.
Cap: "This guy Kang is starting to piss me off and my guys are hopeless against him. Can you help me out buddy? Make with the snikety snikt, could ya? K thx bai."
I agree about the rotating cast thing. My issue is with the constant lunches/dinners/lazy Sundays/etc. A lot of these guys have dual lives but they have time to sit around and get together for meals every day? I don't fight crime and you know I love the shit out of you guys but I couldn't make it to dinner with you every night even if we all lived in NY.
Spidey on FF makes sense if they want someone on the team that they're familiar with. It is a family after all, right? It was a decision made after the death of someone close to them so they wanted to bring in someone they're comfortable with. I get the decision of the characters. That said, I'm not digging it on a story standpoint. I don't even know if Spidey contributes all that much to the team. Now that they know Johnny isn't dead, even if he doesn't return to the team, could they not replace Spidey with a more capable member? At least relegate him to the FF book (as opposed o the F4 book) and have him babysit the kids. I can dig that.
FF and F4 are super fun reads and I get that it ain't your thing right now. Vince swears he'll never read it (I still love ya boo, even though you're crazy) but I hope the rest of you try it out at some point, maybe when Hickman's run is complete. To hell with whether it's the best or it isn't or it's up there or whatever. It's just a really fun ride.
