If your a Dr Who or Star Trek fan or if your a fan of the comic artist J.k. Woodward of Fallen Angel with Peter David I urge you to pre order this book. I know JK has been working hard on it and hes proud of this project.

Star Trek TNG/Doctor Who: Assimilation2 #1
Scott & David Tipton with Tony Lee (w) • J.K. Woodward (a) • Woodward, David Messina (c)
They said it would never happen! Nearly five decades and 1500 episodes in the making! The two greatest science-fiction properties of all time cross over for the first time in history, in STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION/DOCTOR WHO: ASSIMILATION2!
When the Federation’s most terrifying enemy strikes an unholy alliance with one of the Doctor’s most hated antagonists, the result is devastation on a cosmic scale! Spanning the ends of space and time itself, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the USS Enterprise find themselves joining forces with the Doctor and his companions, with the fate of the galaxy hanging in the balance!
Written by Scott and David Tipton, the authors of the critically acclaimed Star Trek: Infestaion, and featuring the beautiful painted artwork of J.K. Woodward (Fallen Angel), this is the adventure that both Trekkers and Whovians have waited for all their lives! Geronimo? Make it so!

As much as I hate repeating myself...

 Shifty Eyes

...I do wish it was the Tenth Doctor, but that's a personal preference and won't stop me from reading this.

And while I'm wishing: it would be cool (to me) if TOS and TNG were both getting in on this and the Doctor is the constant between them.  With memories of The Modala Imperative standalone-but-connected minis from the 90s where you had the writers fom the main ongoings switch crews (Peter David and Michael Jan Friedman).

Am I the only one that liked Eccleston as The Doctor?  Whaaaat

I think this series would be fantastic with the ninth Doctor.

Mark Waid: Thunderbolt’s mustache goes into the Negative Zone, where it enjoys its own separate adventures that will hopefully someday be told. Our Hulk needs no mustache. Muttonchops, perhaps.

I'm interested in seeing how this one works. I hope it goes better then the X-Men cross over they did in the 90s. Right now they got St Trek: TOS crossing over with The Legion Of Superheroes and I heard it has been working well. So I hope it will be an epic adventure we be wishing for a movie to be.  Yes

I love Eccleston's Doctor ... There were some shades of Tom Baker in there, just a touch. That huge smile, nice sense of humor, and a sense that he's ready to jump off the script anytime. He was great fun.

"Fantastic!" [starts running]

Here's a peek at the issue 2 cover. Though it was debuted at London Comic Con by IDW, this is the first time its officially shown on the internet. (as far as I know)

Thanks Jeppe! and to JoeyN and all the rest that prefer the 9th doctor, I'm also a fan. I always felt he didn't get enough of a chance. One season was not enough. I would definitely lobby IDW for a 9th doctor series. I'd love to illustrate that.

Yeah, I wonder how things would have went if Eccelsten didn't  want to do only one season.
