3) Angela is really cool... in the moment she smiled instead of freaking out. That said I would not even wait to be fired, I would be halfway across any one of the borders.

When I was about 20, I had a second job waiting tables.  As I was handing a lady her beer, the bottle slipped down and I was left holding nothing but the label.  The beer fell forward and proceeded to pour all over her food and down into her lap.   Luckily she was completely understanding and not that pissed off about it and I remember them still double tipping me on top of gratuity.

In all my years in the service industry I am proud to say that I have never spilled a drink on anyone.

I have spilled my fair share however drunk at a party, or a bar, or anywhere really.

2) Speaking of the person he's spilling it on, mad props to Angela for being a complete sport. She has every right to be upset, but she does her best to put a smile on. She doesn't flip out. I love it.

When I waited tables years back.....I was working a lunch shift one day and had a table of four ladies who were enjoying a lovely liquid lunch of Strawberry Daiquiris....many of them. While serving one of their rounds, I picked up a glass the wrong way and sent Strawberry Daiquiri all over them. Panicking, I quickly got the glassware off the table and helped them clean up and then basically hid  in the kitchen. My boss ends up coming back and, laughing, tells me that the ladies want to speak to me. "OH HELL, NO!" I respond. Still laughing, he takes me by the hand and walks me out to the table where the ladies are all laughing about it and tell me not to worry and could they have another round? When they left they all gave me a hug and ended up leaving me a hundred dollar tip.
