It is Monday! The week is full of potential! W/E 03/17/2012A new week and new reasons to be excited about comics, friendships and all that we go through as friends here on the forum. If there was a lackluster announcement this weekend or if you ain't digging Walking Dead. Forget about that for a moment and tell us what you are digging or looking forward to this week!me first: 1. I read some Warlord of Mars comics this weekend. (dynamite versions) I'm new to the world and characters and I loved them. I'm glad I bought Dejah Thoris 1-5 too! 2. Gonna jump into that Adhouse/Nobrow stack!3. A few more pages to go then I can start really planing my c2e2 experience

 On top of those I have a stack of last months comics from DCBS sitting on my night stand. Tomorrow I have a Invincible Ultimate Collection Volume 7 and the Avengers: The Children's Crusade coming in the mail. Can't wait to dive into both. This is the last week of me working at my current position in the company, next Monday I start my new position. On Saturday I move out of the piece of crap apt. I have lived in for three years and move into a shiny new apt. with my long time girlfriend.  It's lots of work but should be a great week! |

This sounds a bit corny but I'm excited about everyone else week! I'm happy that my friends are happy and that everything going great for them! Lawrence is one of those people I'm excited for! He got a promotion and a new place to live! Bob & Jon for all their work on the anthologies and that being done and over with! Im happy for Mat (GrimlocksPS)for the exposure he's getting with his art! I'm happy to be part of this fourm and to be able to listen to the guys every week! I guess this week for me is more of why I'm happy rather that what I'm excited for!

Where is the Monday potential folks! I just moved into my new desk for my new position at work!  It looks exactly like my old desk but I hear it's a nicer neighborhood. I'm also going to go home and finish reading that newest Invincible HC that I spend most of yesterday with. Since I wait for the Ultimate Collections I only read Invincible about once a year and I seem to forget in between readings that this is the best damn super hero book on the market IMO, hands down. |
