I might have to buy this just for the title  Rock Horns

I have only read the first Zombies mini, so have the latter minis been any good or have they been hit and miss or all miss? Thinking

It is a great title, for sure.

Never read beyond the first mini though.

Haven't read all of them, but the first one was fun.  The Van Lente mini was good...  I don't even know how many there are.

Loved Hearts:Marvel Zombies 3 & 5

Marvel Zombies 3 synopsis:
What do you fight super powered zombies with?
Super powered robots!  Aaron "Machine Man" Stack joins
ARMOR to repel an extradimensional attack by Marvel Zombies
led by Zombie Kingpin & Zombie Dr. Strange.

(I trade waited on Vol. 4 & still haven't read it.
I think it's basically Legion of Monsters vs. Marvel Zombies.)

Marvel Zombies 5 synopsis:
Machine Man teams up with Howard the Duck
in a preemptive strike to attack different zombie infested dimensions
before they find ours.  Different strains of zombies are revealed
from Romero movie ones through Michael Jackson's Thriller.

What awesomeness is missing from that?
Nothing.  Absolutely nothing.

Vol. 3-5 were FVL, & he doesn't appear to be in the Zomnibus credits.
So I'm assuming it's mostly the Kirkman stuff.
Marvel can't possibly expect to make any money off a Kirman zombie book released a just before halloween, right?  Wink

Hmm I tried Walking Dead a while ago and it didn't wow me but I certainly enjoy zombies a lot more when they are part of superhero/fantasy/out there sci-fi stories so I could be convinced to get this.

Hit and miss is a fair assessment of the later series, but overal it is worth it... if you are into huge books.
