You know what the problem with Uwe Boll is? He peaked too soon. Nothing he has done since then has been able to live up to Alone in the Dark and BloodRayne, just like with Kurosawa and Seven Samurai  Yes

I've got absolutely no time for Michael Bay, but when it comes to Turtles and Walking Dead Julian speaks the truth

MOTHER. FUCKING. KRANG.

When I see every single kid in the western world hankering after a T-Dogg figure at Christmas I might change my mind...

So true. Also, much like Boll, Kurosawa was known box critics of his films, as the 76 year old took out Gene Shalit with a solid right hook after the Today show critic dared to pan Ran.

It was for three reasons:

1) I was bitterly sarcastic
2) I was HILARIOUS Smiley
3) I wore bowling shirts. A lot. As in, all of the time.

Have to go with Chris on the FF stuff - 3 years is just too damn long to a story to come together.

I think most of those who stuck with it did so because they found enjoyment in it all the while. I certainly did, but I also didn't start buying it in issues until Hickman was a year or so into the run.

I think Hickman just reads better in trade and that his FF run is the ultimate example of that. It does build on itself and get better as it goes but it's strong throughout. Folks who discover it in collected editions will probably be kinda shocked that some people thought it had a weak start. The Solve Everything arc laid the groundwork for the whole epic, and it was an awesome arc!

Also, The Rock, Bad Boys??? Then Michael Bay decided that his films didn't even need writers. Jackoff

AND THIS UWE BOLE GUY???? Never seen one of his films but I picture him as a video game enthusiast/ inheritor of a minor fortune who does tons of drugs and tries to make movies. I'll never look into his real backstory because I like to believe that that's exactly what he is. And I'm cool with it.

I think Friends overstayed its welcome and I cringe when I watch first season episodes (see also: Sienfeld, King of Queens), but it is one of my all-time favorite shows.  My brother and I quote the shit out if.

And the Moist Maker is no joke.
