Wanted to know if anyone knew any Articles or Podcasts debating digital comics in the Post fall 2011 world where everyone has gone digital day and date with comixology with the exception of a few holdouts (fuck you dark horse). Now with the newest pad out with retina technology and comixologys CMX HD file format.

If I recall i remember hearing about the controversy about Comixology's retailer online storefont being unfair. I also remember watching week n' geek (a weekly youtube show by two LCS owners in my area) pretty much bitching about it and denouncing giving discounts for people who came in and deleted the apps off their phones and tablets.

As somehow started buying monthlies and comics in general due to the these sales it I really can't find anything wrong with digital. (I also happened to be younger guy accustomed to digital goods)

I mean fucking bought The man that laughs for $0.99 yesterday and picked up all of the classic firestorm run for $6 bucks and have a cheap yet decent reader in the Kindle Fire. (device is pretty crappy beyond that)

So I wanted to know what you guys thought about it or have the guys talked about it on the podcast. I remember a lengthy section on the subject when the original ipad was announced but was there ever a follow up.

If you do a forum search (upper right hand corner) you'll find a cornucopia of digital discussions.

Or...you could probably get the participants to give you a stirring recreation of those threads by just implying that one format or the other is superior OR implying that comic shops are evil and standing in the way of progress.  Smiley
