Tokyopop 80% off

Instocktrades.com is having a massive sale and all Tokyopop titles are 80% off. I'm at work so I can't purchase yet but alot of titles are as low as $2.20 for trades. If your interested in trying something new, here is a great opportunity.

Hard to recommend something when a series has only a few random volumes available.

My suggestion is look for something that says vol. 1 and go from there. Everyone hates jumping in on a story that it 6, 20 or 40 vol's in but for the price I don't see what it would hurt. You might find a new genre or writing style or artist to follow.

Dragon Head is a 10 volume series but there's only 7 and 8.

And remember that Tokyopop went under so this is it. Hopefully some of the good licenses they held will get picked up by some other companies. GTO was rescued by Vertical, maybe we'll see some more licenses in the future.

Vertical also picked up Paradise Kiss that Tokyo Pop published in the early 2000's so more are sneaking back sometimes as Omniboo. If only I could find that rare volume of Planetes but I'm happy I finished Dragon head off a while back.
