I'm fairly excited for all of them to be honest because I think they'll all be good. For some reason, there's been nothing about these films that has caused any of the sphincter-tightening that we all felt when we saw the Green Lantern trailers.
Avengers is probably the one that clicks for me the most just because it feels like a continuation of all the other Marvel films, so it's kinda like the sequential storytelling that made me fall in love with comics as a kid. I'm sure Dark Knight will be good too, but the last film hasn't aged as well as I thought it would.

For me right now, it's Avengers. The Nolan Batman movies have been excellent, and I can't wait to see the third, but it's hard to compete with the nerd joy the Avengers might bring, plus it's the culmination of all these years of hype and buildup.

Avengers for me. I always find the Batman films to be disappointing. I always feel like Batman looks like a guy trying to be a ninja in a suit of Medieval armor. It also bothers me that the villains almost always have to die. A trilogy for the origin is too much. How many times do we have to see that? My youngest will want to see it so we probably will, but it doesn't really interest me. Besides, like S. Earl says, what's being done with Avengers is interesting.

Against any other film it would be The Dark Knight Rises. And if Avengers was directed by anyone else it woul probably be Dark Knight Rises. But Joss Whedon edges it for the Avengers. He's due a big hit (especially after the criminally underwatched Serenity) and I hope this is it.

I am expecting Avengers to be big dumb summer popcorn fun... but I am REALLY looking forward to Dark Knight Rises. Nolan has created a high level of expectation and I hope/assume he will still deliver on these pre established standard. the Tiki

Dark Knight Rises by a mile. Though I am kinda looking forward to Avengers, mostly because nothing like it has ever been tried before save for the old Universal Monster meet-ups.
Anyone feel like giving Spider-Man or Men in Black III a pity vote?

Joss Whedon writing and directing Avengers gives it a little edge over Dark Knight Rises (inches). However I am also really excited about Amazing Spider-man. MIB3 not so much...
Also curious about Dark Shadows which kinda counts as Comic book movie (there was one comic run, i think)

The Dark Knight Rises by a very large margin
but i am interested in Avengers, Spider-Man, and even MIB, which is odd as i am usually not interested in any of them.

You know it's funny, I didn't even register what the other 2 films were. I'm not too fused about Men In Black but I am really looking forward to the relaunched Spider-man.

X-Men First Class surprised the hell out of me. I wasn't even going to see it, but I tagged a long with a few friends. I thought it was quietly better than Cap, Thor, and Green Lantern. I could see Spider-Man having that same kind of potential. I'm betting Andrew Garfield impresses the hell out of everyone.

I know DKR is gonna be good, but something on the level of the Avengers has never even been attempted before. I'm hoping it lives up to the hype I've built up for it in my head.
I was really looking forward to Spidey from what I've seen, but hearing that the origin is going to be spread out over the course of a trilogy really took some wind out of my sails.
What? Oh jeez. I wasn't planning to go see the movie because I'm sick of seeing Spidey's origins. I wish we could just jump ahead at this point. But a trilogy about him getting bitten by a spider and woo powers?? Call me extremely skeptical. If I hear it's good, I'll watch it on DVD. I'm looking forward to both Avengers & DKR. I'm now thinking I should've changed my vote to the Avengers, if only for Thor

Absolutely. I mean, there isn't a single person in the world who doesn't know Spider-Man's origin by now. They should just have treated the reboot like James Bond - new actors, new director etc but straight into the story with no background. It's not necessary. To me that was the only good decision Bryan Singer made with Superman Returns.

Dark Knight Rises gets my vote. Avengers & spidey rebooted can wait to be watched on Netflix w/ Men in Black III getting the FX treatment (I will see it about two & 1/2 to three years from now).

Singer made other good decisions with that movie. Bullet to the eye is one. I love the idea that Superman and Lois had a kid, too. That was an interesting move. I've read a decent chunk of Superman stories over the years (although certainly not all) so I'm a little more versed in Superman continuity than the average viewer and that was a new idea to me.

I'm disinterested or trepidatious about all 4 of them. I'm sure I'll get into the Avengers spirit once I sit down in the theater to watch it but I'm not excited about it. I doubt I'll see the Batman flick or MIB. I want the Spidey film to be great because I love the Lizard but I don't have a good feeling about it. Maybe that means I'll be pleasantly surprised. Honestly, I'm far more excited about Prometheus and some of the animated movies coming out this summer (Brave, ParaNorman, etc.) then I am about the comic book movies. Jim

I agree! Brave is my #2 and ParaNorman (by the Coraline people; hey, Joe!) looks great as well.

Anyone feel like giving Spider-Man or Men in Black III a pity vote?
I gave Spider-Man a non-pity vote. I really enjoyed what Marc Webb did in 500 Days of Summer. He obviously has a handle on characterization and the trailers have shown a lot of promise in terms of how he handles action sequences. When the first X-Men movie was announced, I was eager to see how the director of The Usual Suspects would handle the adaptation. When Batman Begins was announced, I was excited to see how the director of Memento would adapt the material. I feel the anticipation with Spider-Man—watching a young director standing on the precipice of a new frontier.
