The character in Flex Mentallo, who claimed he was feeling like THE LAST BOY ON EARTH, looked a lot like Kamandi after injecting himself.  There was also no shortage of Kirby Krackle in the images.

I think Vince was saying that the scene from Flex Mentallo reflected a scene where Kamandi shot up Green Krytonite.   I am not familiar with the scene that he was referring to (or at least I forgot it).

I thought that's what Vince was getting at but based on my (limited) knowledge of Kamandi a scene where he shoots up didn't seem to fit... Thanks guys

Just read Flex over the last few days and have to say I was mightily impressed. I don't think I've ever held either Morrison or Quitely in such high estimation as I do now. Personally it also spoke to me in a very particular way both through depictions of/references to the west of Scotland and it's psychological themes that rang true from a lot of my experience of mental illness. Apart from that it's bursting with ideas but never feels crowded and the art is gorgeous.
