I love COSPLAYERS!
Your complaints sound like its the Con's location than anything else.
At DragonCon, since it is spread out over 5 hotels, Cosplayers tend to stick to big open areas and the security keep traffic flows going. I'm sure it would be annoying if you are shopping and you get stuck behind a big photo op.
I agree 100%. I told more than one person that they should have a Cospaly corral. There was 1/4 of the floor off to the one side that was completely open and unused. A perfect place for photo ops. I have been to DragonCon numerous times and it is admittedly a different animal but me and my friends tend to love the Cosplayers rather than hate them. At C2E2, I found them annoying, inconsiderate and self absorbed. Bean

I think that's just Chicagoans in general.

When I went to Tokyo Game Show, they have a corridor that connects the two halls and it's dedicated to the cosplayers. It's great cuz you can see them all, do photos and such, but traffic still flows smoothly. Why comic cons haven't figured this out, yet, baffles me.

I'm probably being dense, but did the photos promised before the con materialise? Are they here somewhere?
Loving the show so far. The story about Vince's love for little naked boys had me roaring.

Dress up all you want, just don't be blocking people. Shit, I love a good costume and even more so if the person wearing it is hot stuff. But don't go ruining things for other people. Could they not be assigned their own area? When I went to Tokyo Game Show, they have a corridor that connects the two halls and it's dedicated to the cosplayers. It's great cuz you can see them all, do photos and such, but traffic still flows smoothly. Why comic cons haven't figured this out, yet, baffles me.
I couldn't process the rest of your post after reading those initial words. JEALOUS!

Indeed, my friend. Top 3 best dining out meals I've ever had.
While I'm sure it was awesome having enough people to try more stuff we had a TON of great dishes at my 2 person table too. Fucking fabulous. Also good to hear more Fanexpo talk from Chris, really hoping I can make it this year but not sure because I'll be in California the week before... I could probably just pretend to be at work with 3G and tethering like I did last year.

Finally getting to the new episode after finishing up with the supplementals.
30 minutes in. I don't think I've ever heard DAP so talkative.

Between her and JohnnyNoPrize (to name two), I guess there were folks I just wasn't meant to meet.
You have my WORD, David, that I will man up next year and we will meet. I've still not gotten the whole "just walk up and say HI" thing down. Most people that I met this year were ones I was introduced to by Bean or others. We all have those people who we are reluctant to meet because we don't want our image of them tainted. I hold all four of you in extremely high esteem and I don't want to come off as some silly fanboy. I did meet Jason and Chris VERY VERY briefly last year at the Hyatt bar but I doubt they remember the encounter. In Chris' case I certainly hope he doesnt remember as I said something to him when we met that I THOUGHT was going to come off as totally witty and funny but the moment the words left my mouth I think he took it the wrong way. (Stupid things that my drunk self thinks are cool! LOL) You've always been very cool with me not only here but also on Facebook and now Twitter so I will make sure this happens next year! It was neat, though, to hear Jason ask about me! Put a smile on my face! Thanks to four of you AND to the amazing people on the forum for making me always feel so welcome!

Finally got around to listening to the ep. Thanks for the shout-out during the drink roll call, but what's this about DAP not getting to drink the wine? Who be this Mario guy and why do he drink David's malbec? Sheesh! And the takeaway for Vince should have been... drink premium booze "on the air" and get premium booze at the con! But I think he really LIKES that malt liquor?!
