I know it's normally Christmas in July, but June 25th makes more sense to me.

I thought we would do it slightly differently than the normal Christmas exchange.  On that one you know who's getting for you, but I thought a true secret Santa might be cool.   Several folks have posted they are 'in' on the previous thread.  I've complied all of that information below.  Anyone else, just add your name in this thread and I will add you.  Please confirm and add in which country you are in and if you are willing to ship international.

Deadline for participation is May 15th.  On May 16th I will mix everyone up and PM you with who you are playing Santa for.  At that point it would probably be a good idea to post up a wish list and books that you like so your Santa will get some idea of your tastes.

My package will go out Monday morning or maybe even tomorrow if I have time to run by the Post Office.

Package went out yesterday, sorry fr the relative lack of communication here, been crazy busy lately and not spending nearly as much time on the boards as I'd like.  To my recipient I left the note I had written on my desk when I went to the post office so my apologies on that.  The gist of it was, happy Christmas in June, I tried to hit some of the categories you had said you didn't have a lot of reading experience with, and I hope you enjoy!  Also because my forums name is nowhere to be found, my name is Dan Spigarolo (hence Spigs). Keeping my eye out for my package and a massive load of karma to everyone who participated in this, nothing like spreading some comics love.

Got a big ol' Diamond box on my front porch yesterday, and got a chance to open it this morning. Steve aka Lesson_25 sent me tons of awesome stuff that I can't wait to read. He has the honor of giving me my first ever Joe Kubert comic. It's going to be a lot of fun digging in.

Tor, House of M (HC!), Wolverine & the X-Men, Prince Valiant, Tarzan, Hulk, Exit Wounds, Daytripper, Retro Rocket, Destructor, and a Martian Manhunter sketch card by Fred Hembeck. Seriously cool stuff. A HUGE thank you to Steve. I am not worthy.

 Not Worthy

Now I need to get off my butt and get my gifts out the door. Hopefully my package will live up to the amazing gifts I have been given.

That is awesome. I was hoping you got it since I'm here at the asshole end of Texas. Happy Birthday and that's actually David Liss's signature on the Black Panther books. Didn't want you to think I scribbled on them.

Wow, I am blown away. I don't know who my secret Santa was but they went above and beyond the call of duty. I got a ton of Darkhawk issues and ties ins, some Transformers and Tundercats issues, as well as the X-Tinction Agenda trade. There was also a note and a gift certificate to somewhere that I use quite frequently and will be using it quite soon. So whoever you are SS. THANK YOU!! Not Worthy You are seriously an awesome person!

I'm glad you liked everything. Whenever we do one of these things I'm always worried that its stuff the other person already has. Glad you liked it. It was my pleasure. Hearts Hearts
