Since getting put back behind a desk all day it's very hard NOT to listen at work. I prefer to listen whilst drawing, but sooo tempting....
Damn you sexy bastards!

I see GREEN RIVER KILLER listed in the show notes. I am midway through it... good stuff. the Tiki I rode my bike along the Green River in south Seattle regularly when I was a little kid in the early 80's. Even then we joked that we would be fine because we weren't hookers. Is that inappropriate?

Jake the Snake is still alive because his snake is a Horcrux.
Downton Abbey is good. First season is spectacular, second season nearly jumps the shark with the shift to soapy melodrama, but I feel they can pull it back for season three.

Vince talking about the printing process It's good to hear someone who knows what they are talking about. Absentee Chris gets major props as well for past printing knowledge sharing. Here at work we jokingly call the "shuffling" that you decsibe as "fluffing"

I don't know if I've ever spoke about this on the board, but maybe I did. Anyhow, Green Lantern was so bad the day I saw it in the theater I later landed in the clink for the night, it rattled my sense of good judgment in it's awfulness. Let me just say that when a cop is getting rough with a kid for skateboarding on the sidewalk don't try to be a peace maker (or prankster) when you are walking by.

To anyone that hasn't read the Goon (Mr. Wood), you should give it a shot. It see-saws in between extremely dark, goofy, and tragic. Gorgeous art throughout. Like Mad Magazine smashed together with Hellboy and Whiskey. It's up there with Fear Agent for me.
I haven't read the issue in question yet, but I'd rather read an artistic version of his opinion (displeasure with the Big 2 approach to comics) as opposed to the same old song and dance being bitched about again and again on message boards and Erik Larsen's twitter feed.

Gantz seems right up your alley Vince. There's an ample amount of boobage/general nudity and some sex scenes. I did a search for 'Gantz sex' and the first result was a list of chapters where there was a sex scene or nudity. I'm thankful that there's people in this world who'd do stuff like this Obviously, spoiler warning. http://gantz.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Gantz_manga_featuring_sex_or_nudityThis is weird, I was thinking about the Green Lantern movie this week as well. I haven't seen it and I'm tempted to rent it but I keep thinking whether I'm gonna regret it. I don't know if I've ever spoke about this on the board, but maybe I did. Yikes. I'm even more scared to watch it now. You have to be lightning quick to beat Dan to an episode thread.
I got him last week And I'm third this week. I've been losing my touch I'll get you again next week slurms! I'ma be hitting F5 like it's nobody's business

You should be fine, you seem to have a level head on your shoulders. It was actually the last of a few "Grow the fuck up moments" for me. I sure closed out my 20s with a lot of nonsense. Having the lady tell me grow up or get lost was a hell of a wake up call. I don't get too personal around here, but it's funny how much better things can be a year later with a few adjustments to one's attitude and outlook.

Forgot to mention Sammy the Mouse features a dumpy, bald, morose character named Carl Urbanski who wears a shirt with a single sawtooth stripe. He also has a very fat wife.

It has been in heavy rotation on one of the pay cable channels (Starz or HBO or something like that). I tried to watch again and I just think it is not that good. Even on in background, it is just boring and bad. Saw Hostel in the theaters (second run). It was OK but the musical score was really good. Any score fans in the house? Thanks for the episode.

I was practically mind yelling at my ipod when Vince was describing Sammy the Mouse. As soon as I heard that there was a mouse, duck and a dog I couldn't stop thinking about Disney characters. I am glad Sal brought it up.
