Ok, so I have been reading some of the new batman's and have came to a spot where i feel like i may be about to get lost. I am reading Batman, Batman & Robin, Batman the dark knight and Batman unhinged, but as i have gotten into the issues i am noticing that it looks like they are all about to tie together. Do I need to be reading every Batman book, or will I be ok going the rout that I am going? Sorry for such a bad question but I just want to know if I am missing anything, I wasn't a fan of some of the other bat books when i read them. I hope that this is a simple question and I dont sound to comic dumb! And this happens as I start getting into a big weekend of catching up on my singles...

This 'Owls' crossover stems from the popularity of the storyline begun in the main Batman title by Snyder/Capullo.

I would make sure to be at least reading that book, and then keep reading whatever you like...the other titles are trying to grab from attention by 'tie-ing in', however loosely, but the story is being told in Batman.

Enjoy!

So far, each issue has been pretty self-contained with passing mentions to other events in other titles included within the story. It's strictly up to the reader if he or she wants to explore these other stories.

Nightwing has tied in very well so far.  It isn't necessary at all but adds another layer to the overall story.

OK, thanks guys. I felt like such a newbie asking that question, but I am really starting to get attached to reading my comics and didn't want to miss something that was going to discourage me or throw some new loops in that wouldn't make any sense to me in a few more issues. I felt like I was doing something wrong if that is even possible.  So thanks for the speedy answering of my question!!
