I LOVE the "Sites for buying original art" thread and seeing new purchases, but I want to see more!

I'm trying to keep my comicartfans.com gallery updated as I get new pieces.

If you want to play along and post links to your collections, let's make this the place to do it.

Here's mine:

Cool idea  Cheesy. I just started adding stuff a little while ago. I'll need to take pictures of the other stuff I have.

Mine.  I have to add some things to my room.  It's been months since I scanned anything in.  I really want to get my Mahmud Hunter Rose piece up there.  And my Low Concept pages.  And my Star Trek and Ren & Stimpy pages.  And my...

(I think Chris Campbell started a Comicartfans thread awhlie back.  If he did, I'll merge 'em when I can.)

You've got some great stuff in there, Chris. I'm jealous! I love the Risso page, the Buscema/Chan page, the Colan/Palmer ToD art and, of course, the Fear Agent page and Hilary's take on the Goon. The rest of it's not bad either... we need to get together so I can see this stuff in person. Wink

Ahem... of course, it would be nice to see you again too. It's been a while!

Those Ottley pages are wonderful!

I already love this thread.

Great idea for a thread.  I see a sticky coming in this thread's future, no?

Here's mine:  http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerydetail.asp?gcat=54096

I really need to update.  There are a bunch of pieces not in there since my big scanner stopped playing nicely with my Mac (when they stopped updating the drivers for the newest OS).

Maybe.  Depends.  I'm not a fan of a dozen stickied threads pushing newer topics off the first page.  We'll see.

not to derail the thread, but i feel like a few of the stickied threads could probably be unstickied.

You have an impressive collection going there! My favorites are the Murphy, the two Samnees, the Shalvey, the Adlard page from Walking Dead and, of course, the Steve Rude piece, which is (pardon the pun) fantastic.

I'll have to see if I can scan and/or photograph the work I have and put it up. I don't have a big collection of original comic art but I own some good stuff. Smiley

that brian hurtt Q&C page is great, i've asked him twice about pages from his gotham central issue while in the process of buying a Sixth Gun page and he's never responded to the question, and of course i forgot to ask him when i met him in person.

Damn! I love the Samnee Sandman piece and the Hardman Ape piece. The two Salas drawings are gorgeous as well. You have a lot of nice work there, Dave.

What a great idea.

Now if I only had a scanner and the patience to pull everything out of the frames, scan it, and then rehang.

Love the idea Chris! I've started to snap some pictures of my collection with my Iphone since I don't have a scanner so apologies if the pictures aren't perfect. I'll continue to add throughout the weeks. Love seeing everyone's collections.

Thanks! No Phillips does simple light blue layouts in marker and then inks over them to flesh out the pages.

Yeah I had my eye on the Timm piece for a while so glad it was still around when I had some money.
