That's a neat trick, commenting on all that Before Watchmen negativity while referring to a Star Trek discussion as the episode's low point all in the same post.
When I bring up Star Trek I'm not prejudging something I've never experienced before. I'm not against the idea of Star Trek ds9 exists past Star Trek next generation. I've seen it before and its just not for me. I respect everyone else's right to love Star Trek and to talk about it, I just didn't listen.

All in saying is you chose not to listen and still considered it a low point.

I loved the DS9 talk I hadn;t realized Chris was a fan. Alsow wherre are you guys getting Wonton Soup from because Amazon says Volume one takes 1-2 months to ship which usually means its out of print and they give you the run around. The Oni Press site takes me to an empty page when I try to buy it from there. As for the reveiwer who threw away his copy of Minutemen. I hope DC and other companies take notice of that guy and send ALL of his comps to someone more deserving. I get it's not his Cuppa, but he could have easily passed it on to a friend.

The Canadian chapters/indigo bookstore site also has vol.2 still in stock so I imagine other well stocked shops would have a few copies kicking around.

I rarely get a chance to get to a Comic Shop and even if i did my LCS would not have a copy. I tried buying both volumes form Instock Trades We will see how it goes.

Dang I wanna get Won Ton soup so bad but it seems its hard to come by although I can speak from experience that good things come to those who wait. Because I finally got Orc Stain at a normal price, its been up around £90.00 on amazon.co.uk and that ain't happening so hopefully I can find me some Won Ton soup. I got so much to read cos I add something new to my regine pile every episode and then I get sad But then I remember I have enough comics to last me a few months and I'm happy again So thanks I think

Thanks for the episode.
I'm with Vince on trade dress. Do not see the benefit of changing design mid-way through a collection. At least it's not like the Morrison JLA hardcovers, 4 volumes, 1-3 have the cover of #1 spread across the spines and then vol. 4 has Superman from the cover of #41. Why did the person who thought up the idea then fail to think it all the way through?
I'm not interested in Before Watchmen and won't be picking it up (I understand that DC are perfectly entitled to make money but ultimately there are other ways to go about it but going for the option that further alienates one of the mediums greats is a bit of a dick move and speaks to me of a creative bankruptcy that I don't wish to encourage), but the binning of that comp copy of Minutemen reeks of attention seeking, and you were right to un-follow them. If they weren't going to read it would it have troubled them to tell DC not to include it in the comp package?

Was this guy a reviewer who threw it away? How do you know how he got on the list or if he is even on the list? None of us know how he got the comp box.

I'm kinda done talking about this, but the point is, if somebody sends you something (of value) for free, don't be an asshole and brag about how you threw it away.

I recently got the fourth hardcover and after reading it I put it up on the shelf and went, WTF. My girlfriend actually stepped into my comic room at that exact moment. She asked me what was wrong and I said, "Look at this crap. It was making a picture across the spines then they did this with the fourth one!" She shook her head walked out and I have to believe quickly remembered why she doesn't often enter the comic room.

I never really noticed that until you mentioned it. Maybe because I don't have Vol.1. How odd.
