Dude, I met Mike Zeck and got one of his older wonderful sketchbooks from him in person.  Beautiful B&W sketchbook with Punisher/Daredevil/Joe/80's yummy goodness.  And it was like the same size and feel as those 80's marvel magazines, but with a cardstock cover.  Best $20 I've spent in a while...

Mike Zeck is a fantastic artist, and it would be great if Marvel/Disney would back up a Brinks truck to his house in order to pair him with Garth Ennis just once. Once. I could die happy.

Has Heroes Con ever had Arthur Adams out there? I'd love to meet Art, thank him for awesome comics, and buy his sketchbooks (screw those ridiculous shipping prices); but San Diego Comic Con seems like Hell on Earth.

had a fantastic time.  Favorite items from the con are Scioli's Myth of 8-Opus prologue (astonishingly good) & American Barbarian, Classic Next Men 1&2 (finally got these in color, 2112 is beautiful), Afrodisiac, and Rodd Racer (have only started it though, but it's gorgeous)
