Might be so. I'm sure we will hear soon enough if so. To be honest I wouldn't mind. I own every issue and it has had a good long run by today's standards. Book has kind of served it's purpose at this point though. If Parker wasn't so damn talented I doubt it would have even lasted this long.

I'd like to see Jeff get put on a higher profile book so more people learn how great of a writer he is.

I agree that Jeff Parker is awesome but I still really enjoy the book.I love Machine Man being Hulks new side kick.In my opinion he can still tell alot of good stories with the character.I know sometimes we as comic fans secretly hope for books to get canceled to help manage our budget, but this isn't one of those books for me.

It's not the book that I can live without, it's a DOUBLE SHIPPING book. But in fairness that's on me and I could just drop it anytime and have not. For your sake I hope it's sticking around.

The majority of my DC and Marvel I get from DCBS, I save the choice stuff for the LCS. Since I only get it once a month it kind of stacks up and I've lost track of what is double shipping. I think they have been cutting down on it... by a fraction.

I know the .1 nonsense is over with. I'm hoping that the double shipping falls off as well.

SHIELD!  They're not double-shipping SHIELD!  Where is the next issue of that, btw???

I'm sure it's just a matter of time for Hulk.  It's had a really good run by today's standards.  It's kept the same numbering throughout.  Only had two writers and about as few artists as anything else you'll see in a ~50 issue run.  That's pretty good.

I'd also like to see Parker get a shot at something higher profile.

I feel like marvel is abusing their fans because dc was kicking they're asses with single month ship's.  It's their tactic to boost sales because a lot of us comic fans are OCD and have to have every issue in  a series or character we love and they know that so they are abusing this.   It's like in secret they're saying (pardon my french) fuck your money we want to be on top... Not really. Double shipping was happening back before DC got desperate and rebooted everything.

Marvel used to double ship back in the late eighties.  Uncanny X-men and Amazing Spider-man were both bi-weekly back in the Image days.  Its not just about the sales.  The talent (especially the writers) can meet the demand.

I agree with you.As someone who has been a life long Marvel fan and reads almost no Dc,I feel like Marvel is saying to me "We will take advantage of you because your a sucker".As a result I am down to an all time low 5 monthly Marvel titles. But it is more like 10 since they all double ship lol.

It's interesting how it is interpreted. When I first started reading it definitely felt like Marvel saying "Here's more of the comic that love for the summer months." I didn't read as many titles back then. Now I can see both sides and go back and forth.

To be honest the hike from 2.99 to 3.99 upset me more than double shipping. It is just my opinion but I would rather be able to buy a wide range of titles rather than pay 50 plus dollars a month just on Avengers books.I love Avengers books but I want to buy other book too.

I was a huge Marvel fan at one point and the policies and feelings you are talking about drove me away. The thing is I read tons of books from a variety of other publishers, too. I didn't feel like the books Marvel was putting out were better than the books I was reading from other companies. In fact, in many cases, they were inferior to the other companies' books. Most of the Marvel books I was reading were books I had always read. So I started looking at value per dollar, realized that, to me, Marvel wasn't worth what they were asking me to pay. At first, that made me mad, but I got over it.
If you are enjoying the books then the cost of the books is only a problem in that it limits how much you can buy. The bimonthly schedule is a good thing because you get more of what you're enjoying. If the bimonthly schedule irritates you and the cost is too much because you can't buy other books, then you probably aren't enjoying the books that much.

I am on the same page as you.The reason I am down to 5 Marvel books a month is because of all the non Marvel books I love now.I wasn't willing to drop those books in favor of Marvel titles when they increased thier prices and started double shipping.Marvel still has some books I love like Amazing Spider-man and Hulk.

This is where Marvel's Digital Comics Unlimited has helped me out. Read more titles than I did before.
