There's a great blog with a stack of great artists re-imagining/re-interpreting Marvels characters right here- http://ohotmuredux.blogspot.co.uk/The plan is to eventually feature EVERY ENTRY! Awesome project! Check it out!

That's really cool. There are an awful lot of entries to do, though.

It's awesome to think we'll get to see that many renditions. I wonder how it will change the artists's styles as they go along. With that many still to do, you know we'll get to see them grow and change. However, from an artist stand point, that is one heck of an undertaking. Overwhelming in scope. My hat is off to them for planning and attempting it.

It is a massive undertaking- I can't wait to see how some of the more plain-looking characters are tackled. The brains behind this operation, Calamity Jon Morris, has got some mad organisational skills so hats off to him. Seriously, there are some AMAZING artists involved, many yet to be revealed! It looks like the Book of the Dead and the Alien Races are all gonna be included as well. I think this is one occasion where use of the word 'Epic' is no overstatement...

I find it equally intriguing that they're using the old school OHOTMU as inspiration, versus the more recently updated (in 13 wonderful hardcover collections) OHOTMU.

My holy grail buy is still an original drawing from the first edition or the deluxe edition of the OHOTMU. I have gotten close to a couple of auctions on ebay. One day maybe.

If this was licensed, I would Kickstart this. Marvel should take notice.

Real talk I find the new one lacks all the charm of the old one. The old OHOTMU and the Marvel series 1, 2, 3 and X-Men 1 were the true JAM of that type of stuff.

Yeah, the new Ohatmu stuff is great but the old stuff has a strong connection with me. Not that I ever had any ohatmu books, but the entries where often reprinted all over the place.
So far I love most entries but the Angar one by Jon Morris is particularly spectacular.

Aha! I really like those pages even though they're mostly text. I came close to buying one when Anthony's was at Planet Comicon earlier this year. I ended up with a Moon Knight and a Defenders page instead.
