As if the Spiderman comic strip wasn't painful enough, Stan has to come out and try and top Kite-Man as one of the most pathetic looking villains ever. This is gonna do wonders for my coulrophobia.

Reminding folks of the hyphen is kick-worthy, it seems.

Well, could have been worse, they could have entered in their password incorrectly a bunch of times.

David I know this is one thing you are always correcting people on. Is there a story behind why is bugs you, or does it just bug you naturally? I know ever since I met Mark Millar and asked him how to pronounce his last name and he said "Miller, like Frank," I always find myself correcting people and it annoys me when they say "Mill-ar" even though I totally used to do it too.

The hyphen thing always reminds me of a bit from STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION's season 2. The new Doctor, Pulaski, has just come aboard and pronounces our favorite android Ops Officer's name as Dah-ta instead of Day-ta. When corrected she asks "What's the difference?"
"One is my name. The other is not."
While Spiderman could be a perfectly acceptable name for a hero with spider powers, it is not the name of Marvel's web-slinger.

If he is that would be a first... On the other hand, for a first attempt it's not that bad.

David I know this is one thing you are always correcting people on. Is there a story behind why is bugs you, or does it just bug you naturally? A little bit of the latter. And partly to dig at those who do it. There's no story, really. It's mostly just because Spider[hyphen]Man is correct. It's on every cover, it's in the indicia, it's how the character's name is spelled. I'm a sticker for giving credit where it's due, but that credit has to be correct as well. I'm sure it also ties into my habit of referring to you by the name your momma gave you (or how you were introduced to me, for example) and not taking it upon myself to shorten your name unless allowed.
