This might be sacrilegious to some but About them toons, I've felt that YJ is very much an older kids show just like Thundercats is. I think with GL they found the right mix some older themes then fighting and new aliens. Since it's basically TOS star trek in a lot of ways that works cause ST TOS could be watched by anyone at any age and it was ICY. oh super nitpick- I liked hearing King DAP go first with hits. Beiber has some good track though. That Boyfriend song is his move closer towards his Justin 2.0 status. We're like 3-4 years away from his Futuresex/lovesounds Usher raising him RIGHT. Usher knows things. Like a king lion, when his mentor (L.A. Reid) put his house up for sale, Usher swooped in and bought it. For caaaaaaaaaaaash.

Jean Ghey.
I really like my 28-135 f/3.5-5.6, so the 25-105 is a back burner lens for a while. Right now I'm torn between the 17-40 L and the EF-S 10-22.
I REALLY want the ability to go ultra wide, but I think the 17-40 would be a better lens for general use, and it does get pretty damn wide.
I don't care that the 10-22 isn't full frame capable. I just got the 60D and don't really ever plan on jumping to a 5D.
Advance apologies for the thread derailment. I used to plan my lens purchases according to what would go well on full frame but I never went full frame. I think if you can justify full frame then you could probably afford to lose a couple bucks selling your non full frame capable lenses. Plus Canon lenses have good resale value. The 10-22mm is a damn good lens. To heck with full frame, if you wanna go wide then I say go for that lens. I had that lens for a short time and I had no issues with the image quality. As long as you're fine with switching lenses while you're out and about then the 10-22 & 28-135 is a great combo that can cover a lot of different situations.

Thanks, JL. As tired as I was, I had a good time last night.
I've seen very little of the Teen Titans cartoon. I think I might have to check it out to see how they adapt Judas Contract.
I knew that about the cartoon. The new cartoon is taking the name of the comicbook that was based on the original series, right? So it's a full circle kind of thing in a way.
well Season 2 is the Terra season. Each season focuses on a Titan except for Starfire. Maybe you can find it for cheap or netflix disc it. It's good. I like that the new cartoon takes it's name from that comic that's just going to make it even worst for me being a nitpick then. Since now they'll have like 3 shows and I like to use the right names when I talk about them. I do the same with Ben 10 or Justice League. also Teen Titans art style and was heavly influenced by a anime called FLCL (furi curi aka fooly cooley) which is why it's kinda so all crazy. YJ they seems to liked the way the Two earths DtDVD movie came out and rolled with the designer from that team. Everyone should watch FLCL once.

Another great show guys! I need to get those Green River books. I can't wait to hear the end, but it will have to wait a couple of weeks until after I've caught up on Sherlock... I had to rush to the iPhone and shut it off just as you guys were about to discuss the season 2 finale. So until then... Ted Danson

Great talk about the nature of news media towards the end of the episode! Wood's dissection of the hyperbole of political news was particularly on-the-nose. When I worked more directly with political affairs in the foreign service one of the bigger challenges was to learn how to consume the constant information stream coming from news sources in the most efficient and sober way.

I had to look up Elementary Yeah, seeing the trailer for that show really bummed me out. Yet another example of US TV riding the coattails of successful UK shows.

There's so much good stuff in this show! Kudos to you guys. I'm glad to hear phrases like "I am ferreting shit away like a goddamn squirrel!" Sometimes it's easy to feel like you're the only one in the world who has to deal with this. Here's to you guys, and the comics you have to squirrel away.

what issue #'s was the Judas contract. I have a whole short box full of teen titans from the 80's that was given to me, but I've never read any of them.
