ok, so a good buddy of from across the pond was not familiar with DnA's Marvel Cosmic Epic. (Yes, to me it was EPIC). To give you a hint he has a Moon Knight following to rival my Thanos one. Anyway, I was gonna start him at the Annihilation 6 part mini which is where I started but decided to start closer to the beginning. I sent Annihilation Book 1 and later sent 2 & 3.
Now when I started Nova was a battle worn badass  Rock Horns and not the Nova from New Warriors but I just read book 1 digitally here at work and we are seeing the beginning of this transformation. Also a gathering of heroes and just how epic it is in bodycount and planet count. I am hoping he is getting as good a ride as I am and want to know how many of you have revisited and what you think.

I've got the complete Cosmic Marvel saga that started with Annihilation and goes through Thanks Imperative in beautiful oversized hardcovers.

...except Annihilation book 1. It drives my OCD self nuts. I hope that one shows up on eBay for a decent price eventually. I'm waiting to re-read this whole thing when I finally get my hands on this book.

I got book 1 digitally on comixology but they are not offering 2 & 3. No response on twitter when I asked them why.

I generally prefer my heroes to be more street level, but that whole cosmic epic was fantastic.  I read it from the Drax the Destroyer mini (the one that was obviously a Pitch Black homage) up through the latest mini-series in chronological order and it blew my mind.  It's on my list to read again, that's for sure.  I'd never read any of the previous cosmic stuff, so I came in as a new reader.  I had read New Warriors and Darkhawk back in the day, but that was about it.  I was able to follow and enjoy everything.  Well, mostly -- stuff got a little confusing during the War of Kings stuff with all of the minis and whatnot.  I think I read some of that out of order, got a bit confused, and had to go back and figure out where I'd gone wrong.

I have the same OCD problem, but in reverse.  I only have book 1 in hc, can't find vol.2 at a good price.  So I haven't finished the story because I need the whole run in hardcover.

I think I'm just going to wait for the Annihilation omnibus at this point.
